Great value for money for a comfortable stay

It’s a rather long walk to the beach (20-25 mins). All doable, but we had small children so for us it was a bit far in the end.

Unpleasant but clean.

It was clean.

Safety is a major issue here. The windows have a crack between the window and the frame and even when fully closed and locked, this gap does not seal. You can slip a utensil (or any other object) in the crack easily flip up the latch to unlock and fully open the large window. The soundproofing is also an issue. Very difficult to get any sleep on the sofa bed because the passing vehicles and the other patrons walking by. The lights shine brightly from the exterior and the blinds are very ineffective. Sleeping in the king bedroom is also an issue because the pipes are in the wall directly beside the headboard. Every time another unit flushes, the rushing water makes a lot of noise. We were not able to stay in this accommodation. The “river view” is a strong misrepresentation.

Boutique charm that is good value when comparing it to other accommodation in the area.

Very comfortable bed and the fact the extra bed was in another room gave us space and privacy as a family of 3. Excellent customer service when the WiFi didn’t work on arrival and housekeeping staff were lovely when we needed extra sheets/towels. The decor of the place was newly refurbished and was definitely a cut above your standard Thailand accommodation, but this is reflected in the price. However, I must add that we live in Thailand and I think I’ve realised that this is a holiday destination aimed at mainly European foreign tourists. We have compared it with prices of other accommodation in the area and it appears that the cost of this hotel is good value in this area. Even though for us, living in Thailand, would say that it’s expensive for what it is..) Great showering experience. Good air con. Location was good to access local shops with a 15 minute walk to the beach.

We don’t understand why there are no plates, cutlery and glasses and maybe a toaster in a property that is potentially a self contained flat suitable for takeaway and making your own breakfast. What is the point of the kitchen area? Very strangely the windows don’t actually close so let in mosquitoes, all the noise and heat from outside. It is on a quiet street but the rubbish gets collected in the evening and you can listen to everybody talking outside when people come and go. I noticed other reviews have said about the paper thin walls. But I don’t think anybody’s noticed that the windows have a 1cm gap all the way from top to bottom in the centre and that’s how some of the noise comes in . See images. I think the windows have been manufactured incorrectly! The front door also has gaps around it.

Very comfortable bed, big fridge

The key system is awful, they tried to do it modern and simple but instead all this system is not convenient. The room suppose to be garden view - instead it was on the road with some part of greenery (not the hotel territory) the staff always looked tired and sad. Artificial plants in room and the hall in the climate where you don’t need to spend much time to care about them. No furniture on the balcony. Not even a chair in lobby. No air system in the hall (very hot)

Top Lage, zentral gelegen und da 2. Reihe trotzdem ruhig, Zimmergröße super, sehr bequemes weiches Bett, sehr sauber, neuere Ausstattung.

Gepflegte Unterkunft zum stolzen Preis

Schöne Unterkunft, stilvoll eingerichtet, große Räume, bequemes Bett. Die Dusche war ebenfalls super. Parkplätze vor der Haustür, praktisch. Eine kurzen Fußweg zur belebten Gegend mit Supermarkt und Restaurants.

Ziemlich dunkel, da das Schlafzimmer das Fenster zum Hausflur hin hatte und wir die Vorhänge als Sichtschutz zu behalten mussten. Insgesamt auch etwas teuer für thailändische Verhältnisse.

Die Unterkunft ist eine einfache Unterkunft die etwas außerhalb von Khao Lak liegt und man immer ein Fahrzeug braucht um wohin zu kommen. Ansonsten war ich zufrieden
