Location may appear remote for some, but it is really beautiful.

Amazing views when the weather is cooperating. We loved the onsen, architecture, furnishings and spaces.
The walk and then climb up to the house from the bus stop is brutal. Especially if you have to do it every day. My partner did not like all the strong smells in the house (air fresheners and oil diffusers)

Craggy path or steep steps up, we were warned but wish it could be step free as I would love to re-book for my elderly parents!
