Everything about the Residence is Perfect. From diegos initial contact before arrival, his friendly professional welcome and the wonderful spacious studio. The woodburner, bed, terrace and kitchenette were great. And the bathroom was incredible.The manor house and the grounds were immaculate and wonderfully peaceful.Our only regret was that we didn't have a chance to try the pool or stay for breakfast this time around. Something we will rectify in the summer. Great base to visit Elgin and the surrounding area. Driving along the Whale Coast from Cape Town, beach walk and lunch in Pringle Bay, Golf in Kleinmond, overnight stay in The Residence, Brunch at the Railway Market and driving back over St Lowrys pass make for a perfect weekend.

I spent my Birthday night @ The Residence Boutique Hotel in Grabouw
It was a rainy day and the Kolkol wood-fired hot tub and a cosy fireplace was all what we needed
The owners, Diego & Réka, were some of the sweetest, kindest people we met on our birthday weekend getaway.
Thank you for the upgrade to Suite 17—it made everything feel even more special. From the bottle of Cap de Classique, the warm crackling fireplace and to the super yummy breakfast topped off with a rainbow birthday candle muffin… it was all just perfect and magical.
