Old and nice boutique hotel
Relaxing music was playing in a room upon our arrival, staff is really nice and helping, convenient and nice location.
Some things were broken/ did not work the best upon our arrival (clogged bath drain, leaking coffee machine in a room), missing some amenities, safe couldn't be properly locked, but none major issues

Beautiful place
The room was very beautiful and Jean-Claude is lovely
The breakfast : we were told that we could have either coffee or juice and only one item per person from the list. We were the first down for breakfast, we asked to be seated outside, it was refused. When we left our table we noticed that all the other guests were outside

We had a great 2 night stay. Thanks
Clean. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure was good. Had a 1st floor view of the ocean. Location-10-20 min walk to each small town to each side of hotel…room was larger. Even though we were located on the first floor and next to the front door, the room was quiet from any guest traffic.
-Nice bigger TV would only stream. Didn’t see any option to add my apps to TV (but maybe you can - I didn’t give it much effort). -panel from ceiling fell into tub (this could hurt someone if taking a bath). Need to secure panel better. -throw pillows on bed a bit dingy. I would get rid of them. -no a/c … so we opened the windows and closed the shutters, and we were comfortable. Had ceiling fan that helps. Busy road w vehicles outside window didn’t not bother us. -there was an option on Bookings for a king bed within room, which I selected and wanted. Upon arrival, we were informed the bed in the room is a king bed, but, It was a comfortable queen bed.

Lovely
Lovely hotel and staff. Beautiful character, and the true charm of a boutique hotel that isn't a copy paste of the latest instagram trend. Staff were extremely helpful, and the location across a tennis court and one of the nicest beach segments in the area, a walking path to Muizenberg ideal for running and the pools - especially being only 10 (safe) walking minutes from the restaurants and shops.
While the rooms had no AC, the were equipped with what I believe was the most silent fan I ever experienced! Overall, the rooms were rather warm though. It was not the most modern or clean accommodation, but perfectly acceptable.

It’s okay- great location
Great location. Friendly staff
Cleanliness- not clean. Dirty cream carpets. Outdated bathrooms. At breakfast, was served tea in a dirty teapot- great french toast though. Lack of aircon in room made sleeping in hot temperature uncomfortable.
