It’s beautiful quiet and lovely. Staff very friendly 🥰. Rooms clean, beds comfortable and the winery excellent. Some properties are to forget, this one we booked the same day for our stay on our way back!

Staff was very friendly and attentive. The family room was spacious. The property’s views were beautiful with peaceful grounds. We enjoyed visits from the peacocks and peahens. We had a wonderful breakfast on our day of departure. We stayed at this location primarily to be close to the Quoin Rock wedding we were attending to make for short commute with our kids late at night (750 m to reception - maybe another 6-7 min up hill to Manor House).
The biggest issue we had was our shower unfortunately (we are very specific about our showers!) The water pressure was very poor. There was a separate bath tub which was nice. Our AC unit was older and difficult to operate. There was one unit by main bedroom so the temperature across the suite was inconsistent with our side being a bit too cool but the living space a bit too warm. There was a faint smell we think was coming out of the AC unit.

Stunning setting, wonderful accommodation and extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Crystal and Zee went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even upgraded us to the honeymoon suite. The beds were comfortable, crisp cotton linen, beautiful decor and majestic Mountain View’s from the little deck outside the room. There are wonderful walks on the farm, through almond orchards, past dams and through a lovely forested area alongside the river. Some of the accommodation is dog friendly. We are definitely planning to return and stay for longer.

The only redeeming feature about the place was that it was warm inside.
The Room smelt of decay. A smell that never went away during the five nights that I stayed there. Rose cottage was expensive and very over priced for the condition of the place. The kitchen was unusable, the kettle and toaster were put on a shelf, which was very hard to access. The bath was very high and in order to have a shower one had to climb into it. I slipped the first time and was nervous to try it again. Knorhoek was uncomfortable in every way. It had no view and the garden was sad looking. I do not recommend this accommodation.

Breakfast was excellent. It’s a limited offering, but they do a lovely job and they care to cater to your specifications and dietary restrictions. Located in a beautiful setting in the heart of nature but nonetheless close enough to town. Kids had fun seeing zebra, boks and peacocks. Service was very friendly and attentive.
We struggled with a lot of mosquitoes, which made it hard to sleep. I had to kill 10 during my stay as they were buzzing around our ears keeping us awake and biting my children. Also we were in a loft unit which had very steep and narrow stairs that felt a bit dangerous.

The breakfast was delicious and the location beautiful.
We thought the bottled water in the room was complimentary however we had to pay for it which was a surprise as we felt it should of been part of the room expense.

Very friendly staff. It was my daughter's birthday the next morning and Knorhoek treated her with a bottle of their wine as a gift.

The pool advertised all over social media and the booking is not the pool for all guests to use which was a bit disappointing.

It was very delightful and a very peaceful experience sitting outside with the most beautiful view.
The food was excellent, thank you
Hot milk would be a great addition to the coffee serving.

The bath tub and the view of the mountain! The walking/hiking trail is nice to do with friends or family. Extra security at night with a guard dog. Lastly the staff are the real asset of this place!
For the price I think everything is reasonable. A woodburning fire place in the room would make this establishment on par with the rest. And maybe a microwave incase you'd like to heat up milk for your coffee. Instead of the cheese platters at breakfast, maybe consider a pastry or two. The rest of the day is usually filled with cheese and wine. Lots of potential here!!
