A comfortable stay in the countryside.

The owners were extremely hospitable and helpful. We had dinner there one night and it was incredible. Private, comfortable, beautiful setting and location.

Fabulous stay in a beautiful place.

Beautiful setting, gorgeous accommodation, really well appointed. Lovely communal space and decor. Delicious food and wonderful service from Charl and the ladies. We also had a super wine tasting session from Charl which was very informative. Would absolutely recommend this fabulous place!!

A beautiful setting and lovely grounds. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and they ensured we had a fantastic time. The wines were lovely and there are many more wineries in very close proximity. We made use of the garden to unwind after a long days wine tasting...all in all a fantastic experience.

The shower pressure lets down a beautifully appointed bathroom.

Stunning Place!! 🤩

We had a fantastic time at Deux Frères Luxury Villas! We stayed for two nights and honestly wished we had more time to enjoy everything the property has to offer. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate, so we couldn’t make use of the stunning pool, but that just gives us a reason to come back! Our arrival went very smoothly. We traveled from Cape Town and were in touch with Charl from the start, what an incredible host! We let him know we’d be arriving earlier than expected, and he was more than happy to accommodate us. Charl was extremely welcoming, gave us a full tour of the villa and its surroundings, and made us feel right at home. The villa itself is absolutely beautiful, spacious, well-equipped, and designed with great attention to detail. You truly get more than what you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. We only wish we had more time to enjoy every corner of this amazing place! The stay also included a wine tasting, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Charl took the time to explain the wines, the story behind the estate, its owners, and the region. It was both educational and a lot of fun, we really appreciated the experience. And the breakfast… wow! No words! It was absolutely delicious, generous portions, beautifully presented, and everything tasted amazing. Huge compliments to the lady who prepared it, she truly outdid herself! Highly recommend staying here.

A little slice of heaven just outside of Stellenbosch!

We adored our honeymoon stay at Deux Freres and only wish we could have stayed longer! From the smooth and easy check in experience with Charl who was super welcoming, complete with a glass of wine from their vineyard, to the stunning and spacious grounds including a pool, huge and gorgeously decorated bedroom suite (only one of two on the property, which we loved!) where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning in our own private conservatory, and last but by no means least the three friendly dogs, we couldn’t fault a thing! We hope to return in the future and recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a beautiful and bespoke stay in the Stellenbosch area.

Great place to stay for Couples. Great Wine!

The breakfasts were server on the patio which is a nice touch. The choices are also great, however the one morning we ordered tea and that was not provided, and the croissants were also over baked and bone dry. For the rest it is on par with many upmarket hotels. The complimentary bottle of wine is also a nice touch.

They do indicate that dinners can be provided, but on check-in they did not sound too keen. Luckily Stellenbosch not too far away

Fantastic that we could choose what kind of pillow we wanted , hard/soft, synthetic/feather.

We were 2 couples renting both rooms and it was very private and nice to have pool and garden just for us . The dogs came and visited us sometimes and we loved it. The breakfast was very good and the setting was lovely.

Fantastic!

Charl was a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. He hosted a very knowledgeable and interesting complementary wine tasting including some of the best rose we have ever tasted! Our room was spacious and very clean. The bed was super comfy and we felt very touched that a bottle of sparkling was thrown in which added a special touch for our honeymoon stay. The vineyard was also very beautiful and we loved the dogs!

Absolutely stunning, the quality and aspect of the villa was breathtaking. The bedroom was huge and the bathroom was very luxurious, we really felt special. Charl was a fantastic host, I needed to see a Dr and Charl arranged it within minutes. The wine tasting was great and added to the experience Breakfast served in our conservatory was a nice touch.

A little but far from town. But Charl arranged a driver fir the 3 days we stayed.

Perfect oasis nestled away

Absolutely stunning oasis in Stellenbosch. The hosts and staff are so lovely (including the 3 gorgeous dogs!). Loved the rooms, style was beautiful and spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered to enjoy in your sun room was perfect. Felt like you had your own private pool with only 2 rooms on the property. Sun loungers were so comfy too! Complimentary wine tasting was def a highlight! Everything perfect.

Beautiful estate, best stay we had in South Africa - wow!

Our host Charl made us feel very at home. Especially the wine tasting that Charl hosted was topnotch! Special thanks to him, we had a wonderful time and surely will come back (for a longer period of time). It’s the most beautiful villa we stayed in, when in Stellenbosch. The garden and the vineyards are so beautiful and breathtaking.

Everything was amazing! From the surrounding landscapes and vineyards, the carefully designed large rooms with highest quality materials, all the amenities, everything was so thought through and attentive, so was the staff. They made us feel welcome taken care of all the time, and even were so helpful when one of us was sick. I could not think of anything to improve the service. The breakfast arrived in the front room before we woke up and always at the time we ordered it. The wines of the two brothers taste delicious, it’s a lovely winery! Our expectations were exceeded.

A really nice property. The room and covered porch were very large. All the people were very accommodating and friendly. This is a working winery so you can view the farm and try the wines (tasting included). A delicious made to order breakfast is served on a table in the enclosed porch. The wines were some of the best in the area and we took some home.

The villas are beautiful set in a most beautiful small vineyard . The location to Stellenbosch town was only 5 min drive . The hosts did everything possible to make our stay so comfortable .

A perfect place to relax!

Very beautiful guesthouse in the countryside. Antelopes grazing just in front of our suite. The owner family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Game drives in a perfect scenery. Not too many animals, which is very good. Much better than all those parks and reserves at the coast. A perfect stay just to wind down and relax.

Nothing negative. The road is a bit bumpy, which for us in fact is positive. Not everybody finds the way to this magnificent place.

The perfect end to the perfect trip.

Absolutely stunning villas set on a beautiful landscape with fantastic views. We loved everything about our stay here - the property itself has been beautifully decorated with real care and attention to detail. It all felt very luxurious and excellent value for money. All the staff were so friendly and attentive and Charl was a brilliant host. The complementary wine tasting was fab and breakfast was delicious!

Unique and unforgettable stay in Stellenbosch

Personal attention of the owners of the estate (tips of their personal favorite wine estates and restaurants in the area), the detail within the room (stable internet despite loadshedding), kind staff (nothing bad to say about all the staff), beautiful surroundings. We reveiced a bottle of sparkling wine to celebrate our honeymoon as well, very kind. Last but not least, we were super surprised that we got asked which kind of pillow we would prefer during our stay (accompanied with multiple choices), that reflects the detail and aim for perfection in our eyes.

In our opinion, the breakfast could be improved to the standard of the room/estate, but having said that, its a minor detail
