Wonderful find with oodles of character!
A grand old house with the most wonderful hosts. I felt right at home almost immediately. Great location. Comfortable room with a fabulous view. Slept like a child. This is where I will stay for all my trips to the Cape. Can’t wait to return. It’s like going home.

The pictures are extremely misleading. Absolutely no value for money.
The property is in a great location, ease of access to the beach, main roads , shops and restaurants.
The host went on and on about how she was not expecting us, that Booking.Com allows guests to book for same day and she doesn't prefer that and she wants to be informed well on time. You have to take off shoes in the hallway, there are so many doors to unlock for going in and out, it felt like a prison. Everything in the property is old. the pictures are extremely misleading. There is a park close by and it can get very noisy( cant hold the owners to that though). The tea station was in front of my room, so every time one of the guests needed something to drink, they would be by my door which was unsettling

Accommodation photos are deceiving...
I did not stay - I checked out immediately when I saw the room and facilities.
The first red flag was probably when the owner called be and said that they do not take single night bookings and she had to interview me first to see if it was worth it to allow me to stay. There is no secure parking, bedding looks worn and only feather cushions available. No heather in the room and no extra blankets for a cold winter's night. Second red flag is that you have to take off your shoes as you enter the house and leave them by the door. Third probably when you have to jiggle the toilet handle in a certain way to flush the toilet. I declined to stay and did not ask for a refund.

Exceptional
The experience was absolutely breathe-taking. Our host ensured she always exceeded our expectation. This lovely venue provides a combined exposure of art, culture expression and an appreciation for tranquil time. This rich, soul satisfying venue, without a doubt bids you welcome with the most warm ambience. Bella Ev as advertised is for those with an appreciation for a unique beautiful history. My kids were in awe with our lovely host. We would definitely recommend this venue if you have an eye for art, love & respect for culture, mostly appreciation for quiet time. Thank you for being part of magical memories for 2019. This will be my new home when on business in CT.
