The property has obviously had a considerable amount of renovation and is very tastefully decorated with a modern design. It is in a great location next to the south Pier and Promenade. The property entrance hall is beautifully decorated, bright and welcoming.The apartment rooms were all very large with high ceilings and plenty of room for the group that stayed (4 adults, 3 kids). The kitchen lounge area was nicely decorated again and was a great area to spend time in. This was good for our older kids to be able to spend time in when they wanted some time out. The kitchen is modern in design with good facilities and a breakfast bar. The dining area is set in the bay window area overlooking the beach, Souh Pier and promenade and the dining table was very large with plenty of seats. We had beautiful weather which meant the views over the sea were lovely. The lounge area was comfortable with a large sofa and TV to watch apps. The main bedrooms were large bright and decorated nicely with a modern chic. The kids room was equipped with 2 x triple bunkbeds with basic facilities. The bathrooms were also large and simplistic with good facilities (powerful hot showers).

Unfortunately there were a few negatives about this stay. On entering the property despite the lovely decor there was a distinct smell of blocked drains in the entrance hall which was quite unpleasant. There was also an upended sofa left at the end of the hallway which made it look untidy. The lovely stairs carpet was very dirty from previous guests misuse and would benefit a good clean. The propert in general itself was cleanish but not to our standard. The cooking hob in the kitchen was cracked from previous misuse meaning it was not really safe to use (reported to host) and the oven was very dirty. The nest of tables in the lounge area had very loose legs and required maintenance. In the hallway there was a huge hole in the wall where a previous guests had damaged it and made it look unsightly. The main bedrooms despite were quite clean did not have any hanging facility for clothes other than in the kids room the main bedrooms lacked mirrors for dressing and the beds were not so comfortable. The outdoor area was untidy in areas with rubbish from the street. The main bathroom toilet seat was loose. One of the main reasons we chose this apartment was that it boasted EV charging but on attempting to use them none were functioning. On contacting the host they were not able to offer any solution or help. I was loosley apologised to and was advised to go to a public charge point which was obviously additional cost to our trip. Overall the apartment is really nice and for sure in Blackpool I would say on the higher quality level. Its unfortunate that it has been abused by previous guests for sure but with some effort from the hosts to fix the points I have mentioned it would really achieve a higher level recomendation and review from me. Would I revisit? In Blackpool, probably yes.
