Tired, unloved, smelly, needs some TLC. Unresponsive hosts...

The house is in a good location and would be well suited to a big group of friends of a hen party. We booked it for our wedding weekend in Blackpool for 3 generations of family and it wasn't the luxe standard I had expected from the photos.

The property is looking very tired and in much need of some TLC and a fresh lick of paint. Does not look like the swanky photos. The smart lock on the door was difficult to use and upon entering the house it was freezing. No heating on and windows had been left open. I think it was to try and air out the house as it stunk of cigarettes. Especially the master bedroom. Had to store my wedding dress in another room as I didn't want it to stink. The cinema room in the basement was a big draw when booking but it was messy and stunk of damp. Despite 5 page instructions being stuck on the wall of how to use it, it did not work properly. Such a letdown, especially for the kids. Worst responsiveness from hosts of any property I have ever stayed in. I messaged at 8am on our check-in day asking if there was an iron in the house and received no reply and had to chase at 2pm as we were setting off as I needed to know if I had to bring my own. They then replied saying the check-in details would be sent at precisely 2pm. They were not. They arrived on both text and email at 3.20pm. On the day of departure I messaged to see if we could have an extra hour (check-out is 10am) and I am yet to receive a reply! Nothing... Bathrooms have cheap soap but no shower gels in the bathrooms. The whole house feels unloved and given it did not match the photos it felt bad value for money...

Fantastic stay, great location ideal for large family's

Perfect location for my requirements, was a long planned trip with my 3 kids and daughters friend, met up with some colleagues and enjoyed the weather, pleasure beach and of course fish and chips. Accommodation features just about everything you could ask for, only marked down value for money because there were too few to fill the enormous amount of bed space, if shared would have been excellent.

Some of the decor is a tiny bit worn, only the usual wear and tear, but I am sure this will be sorted with a quick lick of paint here and there. Its not off putting but always a concern the owner will think I have caused it!. Also the front door lock was frustrating, even with new batteries, I was going to buy one of these myself but glad I didn't now.

Amazing weekend stay with friends

The location was perfect, a 5min walk to the South Pier. 10mins to pleasure beach. Easy onsite parking for 2 cars and we parked the truck easily on the street right outside the property. Staff were helpful with our arrival late at night and gave us an extended 2hr late checkout. House perfectly accommodated our group of 10 adults across the 5 bedrooms with 4 bathrooms and one toilet on the ground floor. Bar outside was a great space for smokers of the group and to chill and have a drink. Dining room table was perfect to sit all 10 of us for drinks and games. The bed in our master room was certainly comfy and the fan an added bliss.

The finishing of the rooms and decor was not as seen in the photos. You have this great place but the finer details lets the place down. The cinema room was run down and a mess, dvds everywhere just thrown on the floor. Paint work, carpets, tiling etc poorly finished. Drawers in the kitchen filled with random bric and brac, ice machine not clean.

Great location, great value for money, thoroughly enjoyed by 8 adults!

The property had some great touches and was in a fab location for exploring Blackpool. It was literally 3 minute walk to the nearest tram stop, so it was great to park our 2 cars up (8 adults in the party) and use the public transport.

Property was spotless and had everything needed for a large group staying. Really great location and having parking spaces at the house is great. The kids loved the cinema room, the bar in the garden is great (just not in November), the large dining room is ideal for hosting and all the beds were very comfortable making for a relaxing nights sleep. The host was very helpful giving us a tour and showing us how to work everything. Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

So many nice touches that just made the stay so special. The house interior is lovely and the outdoor bar made all the difference. Going away with children means usually someone would have to miss out on going for a drink in the evening but having the bar in the garden meant we could spend time and have a drink together while the kids were asleep! There were 8 of us and we all loved our stay.

Absolutely amazing accommodation and fantastic host! I cannot fault anything at all, we had the BEST family holiday! The house is absolutely beautiful and was sparkling clean, the cinema room and bar is such a fantastic touch! We cannot wait to come back again! 5*

Best place I've stayed in Blackpool and will be a regular from now on.

Beds really comfy and lots of home comforts. Cinema room was a nice touch for the kids.

The tvs I'm some of the rooms we're a bit of a pain to manouver but we made it work. Sometimes the shower goes cold if you flush the toilet but other than that no faults.
