Disappointing stay and poor customer service Unfortunately, our experience with this accommodation was disappointing. There were not enough basic supplies such as toilet roll and cleaning products, which was inconvenient during our stay. There was also a burnt pan in the kitchen, which we believe was already there when we arrived. Despite this, we were later charged for it from the damage deposit, which we feel was unfair. Regarding checkout, we were ready to leave the property at the agreed 10am checkout time. We were simply tidying the living room and taking the rubbish out when the cleaners arrived. We may have overstayed by around 10 minutes at most, but we were still charged £21 for the cleaners’ waiting time and additional cleaning. What was most disappointing was the way the matter was handled afterwards. We tried to communicate with the landlord and explain the situation, but unfortunately, we did not feel that our concerns were handled in a particularly customer-friendly or understanding manner. Overall, the accommodation itself could have been better prepared, but the biggest issue for us was the lack of fairness and customer service when dealing with the problems afterwards. Based on our experience, we would not choose to stay here again.
