Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are drops at the front of the property care to be taken with young children.. Skiddaw, one of 3 holiday apartments, is a ground floor apartment that comprises a living/dining room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a parking space immediately opposite. Situated just off the main thoroughfare, opposite the world renowned ‘George Fishers’ climbing shop, with all amenities to hand. A 10 minute stroll along Lake Road and through the beautifully manicured gardens of Hope Park lead down to Derwentwater, with regular launch trips around the lake and numerous dropping off points. There is parking nearby and once parked up, your car need never leave its space.
The fells are accessible from the door and in the evenings the nearest bars and restaurants are within 75 yards. The apartments are accessed via several steps and are spacious, very comfortably furnished, well equipped and have the benefit of Wi-Fi and a shared terrace. Beach 25 miles. Shop 100 yards, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
Skiddaw can be booked together with Blencathra (UK1084) and Catbells (UK1085) to accommodate up to 8 guests.

"Beautiful apartment. Only criticism was that windows in double room can't be opened and the quilts were too warm. Would advise thinner duvets. Or maybe we prefer fresh air!"
