Excellent stay in Keswick

Last minute booking and it was excellent. Five minutes from centre. We ate in the first night and had everything we needed to cook (apart from a dishwasher -husband did that!)😀 Would definitely recommend staying here.

Nothing negative- petrol station next door was very handy- we were on the front but there was no noise at all. Very quiet.

Exceptional value for money!

Very functional and tidy! Everything you need for your stay is supplied! The studio was also very clean, bathroom was perfect, supplied white goods were also all clean. Sets of fresh towels supplied which is a great addition

Spacious and cosy..

For a studio it was very spacious and functional. It was also warm and cosy and Richard and Trish were very helpful without being intrusive. Richard was straight in there cleaning and found two items I had left behind! Thank you.

There wasn't anything not to like. I wasn't sure where to dry my hair but sat on a chair in front of the big mirror in the end. Don't be put off by the petrol station next door and the Spa is very handy.

I love the location of the apartment, beautiful views and still convenient for getting into Keswick. So relaxing and peaceful but the owners are near if you need anything, they are unobtrusive and a lovely people.

The perfect place to stay for a hiking trip!

The location of the property is absolutely amazing- just a 10 minute walk from Keswick high street and Booths. My boyfriend and I have been going to the Lakes for a few years now and have struggled to find something self catering for a good price in a good location. Lynton Lodge studies exceeded any expectations and we really hope to return soon! Being both vegans, it’s ideal having such sufficient cooking utensils (finding something with an oven that can be used to cook a full meal has been so difficult!) as well as a spacious fridge and freezer for fresh groceries. The studies itself is the perfect space, too. Bed is extremely comfortable and the studio itself is very spacious. The whole place looked and felt so clean which we really appreciated after a long day of hiking before arrival. As a couple who often do long hikes on the drive over, having an easy check in is essential to creating a positive experience for us. Once again, Lynton Lodge studies delivered! We are so pleased to have found such a hidden gem in the Lake District and can not recommend this place anymore! Thank you so much to Trish and Rich for having such a lovely place to stay! We will most definitely be returning! By far the best place we’ve stayed in the Lakes.

Great location with well thought out clean and comfy accommodation. Everything was perfect from pre check in communication to departure. The beautiful spacious private terrace was the icing on the cake with one of the best views in the Lake District. Thank you Trish, we hope to see you again.

Very good two person studio apartment in the heart of the northern Lake District.

Its location was very convenient for walking and the town centre with a Spa garage/shop next door and a bus stop nearby plus parking on the site. Equipment was good/sufficient with an excellent shower. Hosts were lovely and would do all they could to ensure a happy comfortable stay even taking us to the start point of one of our walks.

Our studio was the one (of the two) nearest to the road and the filling station which made it somewhat noisier and less private. There was a small sitting out area but we did not feel we wanted to use it. There was one opening window which meant leaving sliding doors open as the weather was very warm; this was not ideal because of the road. The fridge/freezer was rather too small for us as we mostly self catered.we missed having laundry facilities nearby though there is a launderette in Keswick.

Mountain view location it definitely was. How gorgeous waking up to the view. Actual location was perfect too, a short walk into the main town and accessible for Fitz park to stroll in the evenings. Easy starting point to walk to Catbells or the railway walk to Threlkeld

Fabulous 👌

A lovely welcome on our arrival with a fab birthday banner and orange chocs as it was my Wifes birthday .We also arrived early and was able to leave the car while we explored the shops nearby before check in .Great communication and was informed when our lodge was ready . We had everything we needed, and the view of the mountains was exceptional. Nice quiet location a short walk to nightlife restaurants Also beautiful walks . As soon as we saw the view we decided to stay at the lodge and use the patio area in the sunshine rather than go back out after checking in . We have never done this anywhere we have stayed before . Fabulous find and we will be returning soon .we was really lucky to see rabbits hopping about the field in front of the patio . Wonderful .

We were unable to figure out the streaming from the TV to access our Netflix Iplayer accounts, etc But I wasn't sure if the tv was a smart set up or we had too much wine on the patio .!!! 😃

Beautiful studio very well furnished. Very comfortable Queen bed. Everything you would need in the kitchen. Fantastic location overlooking a field and Catbells. South facing with a nice patio which gets the sun all day. Only a short walk into Keswick no need for parking

Excellent location to keswick. The free chocolate was a lovely touch . Was a struggle to get out of bed it was that comfy. Pretty much as everything you need . Lovely hosts on hand if you need them .

Only thing I can mention ,is constant banging of car doors but that's not the lodges fault ,due to location they is a petrol station on door step but that wouldn't stop me staying again.

We have stayed with Trish & Richard at Lynton Lodge studios a number of times since we had our first weekend away together 4 years ago, our honeymoon last year and celebrated our first wedding anniversary this stay. It holds a special place in our hearts. Perfect studio, immaculate with everything you need. Excellent location, ideal for exploring Keswick and the beautiful surroundings, close proximity to centre. Exceptional

Everything in the studio that you could possibly need and scrupulously clean. Ample sized room for myself and my friend of 70 years. The ability to choose twin beds instead of a double was a bonus as a lot of studios/apartments only had double beds. Hosts Trish and Richard very warm and friendly with nothing too much trouble. Only a short walk from town with wonderful views. Onsite parking excellent. Feel really lucky to have found this accommodation and only one word for our experience - WONDERFUL!
