We had a wonderful stay at Howrah’s Cottage. Paul gave us a very warm welcome and was excellent with communication before and throughout our stay. He was always prompt, helpful, and made everything feel easy from the moment we booked. The accommodation is clean, cosy, and feels like a real home away from home. Being self-contained gave us plenty of privacy, and we appreciated the thoughtful extras, including the generous supply of tea and coffee. The location is fantastic. It’s just far enough from Moot Hall to avoid the noise on busy days, yet only a five-minute walk into the centre of Keswick. There are two large supermarkets, plenty of cafés and restaurants, and a nearby bus stop, making it incredibly convenient. It’s also close to Derwentwater and the starting points for many of our walks and hikes, which made it the perfect base for exploring the area.

There was honestly nothing to dislike. We’d happily stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Keswick.

Fantastic place to stay in Keswick, located 5 mins max to the centre, it was extremely comfortable and very clean, tea, coffee, milk and water in the fridge, parking right outside and easy to find, the owner was there to meet us on arrival and was very helpful and friendly, i will not hesitate to stay here again when visiting Keswick
