Lovely little snug right next to the centre of Keswick, will definitely stay again.

It was quiet and cosy, and everything we needed.

It was attached to the owners property, but this was not an issue and the owner was lovely.

This was either out 3rd or 4th stay at Lakeland Snug, excellent location, room and hosts. Will definitely be going back!

Absolutely perfect, would highly recommend

A beautiful clean property. Heated flooring, the most comfortable bed I have slept in. Facilities were fantastic with sky tv and an Alexa speaker. Lovely extra touches of fresh water in the fridge as well as fresh milk. Host was very welcoming and accommodated our later arrival. A short 5minute walk in to the centre. Central to lots of hiking and scrambling routes. We loved it here.

5-star weekend getaway!

The property was in a perfect location, just a stones throw away from the town centre. Everything was so clean and the snug felt so cosy and homely. Paul, Christine and family were all so welcoming and very kind. We unfortunately had to cut our stay short because of an emergency back home. Paul was very understanding about this and made us feel much better. I would highly recommend the snug as a perfect getaway.

Wonderful little 'Snug'.

Appropriately named, the Snug was indeed lovely and warm and cosy - but very spacious. It had everything you needed for a short stay. Very well situated for a short walk into town and then on to the Lake. A Co-op nearby for provisions, including bacon rolls for breakfast! The bed was very comfy, great powerful shower. The room has a fridge and the host had left milk, water, tea, coffee etc. Table and chairs in the room plus two armchairs and outside seating. Very quiet and peaceful. Really couldn't fault our stay. Would recommend and would definitely stay here again.

A little Lakes home from home

Brilliant location with parking. The snug felt like the perfect spot for us for the local walks and heading into town. Paul was a great host and nothing was too much trouble. Loved that there was a fridge with fresh milk and water. Great that Sky was set up in the room so we can enjoy some movies too! Handy wardrobe space with hangers too.

Nothing to dislike just some shower gel for the bathroom would have been handy.

The hosts were friendly and informative. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Close to town centre. Able to park the car. Tea/coffee making facilities. Bed was exceptionally comfortable.

This is the perfect place to stay

The Lakeland Snug was perfect for our short stay. Paul welcomed us and explained everything. The room was beautifully furnished and decorated. The location was perfect for the Derwent Water walk, and for walking into the town centre.

We felt very comfortable staying here. Paul was very welcoming and friendly. He made sure everything was in order. Location of property is convenient. Room is clean and as advertised. Appreciate the strong shower and instant hot water. Highly recommended!

A gem of a snug.

A little hideaway near to the centre of Keswick. Extremely clean and welcoming. Hosts are warm and friendly. An added bonus is your own parking place. Would definitely recommend. I shall be returning soon.

Great place stay in Keswick

This place is a little annex to the owner’s home, but it has its own door and you are checked in by the lovely owners. We had arrived much earlier than we had informed upfront, but they were very flexible and let us in immediately. Nice sized room, with fluffy towels, proper hair drier and a mirror. Ample coffee and tea supply. The heated towel rack was a life saver to dry wet clothes. It has a dedicated carpark that felt safe. And the town center is just 5-8 mins walk away.

This is probably one of the best places I have stayed at in the UK, The owner was very freindly and helpful, the snug is in an excellent location on the Cumbria way, 5 minutes from the shops and 10 minutes from Derwentwater on foot. The snug was very clean and cosy. It had a private bathroom and its own parking space. Highly recommended would definitely stay again.

The location was with in easy walking distance to bars and restaurants and all shops. Was right next to a circular walk around the lake which was an easy although long walk

Beautiful Lakeland Snug

A beautiful little gem. Spotless, comfortable cosy room with TV, mini fridge, tea, coffee, milk, and biscuits on arrival. Shower room with beautiful fluffy towels. Parking, which is fantastic in Keswick. Great location, 5 minutes from keswick Town Centre, local shops, and 5 minutes from the transport network bus station to use across all of the Lake District. Hosts Paul & Christine provided a very warm welcome.
