It felt so cosy like being home but in the lakes. A little piece of heaven
The only thing I could criticise is the fact that it seemed from the wording that there was a secure area with seating at the rear of the property. This wasnt really the case. The area is used by the other cottages as a cut through. There are also cars parked in there and the seating area is literally chairs & a table next to the bins. Not an issue as its winter atm but I wouldn't like to sit there in summer. Its not the cottage owners fault. Its the wording of the advertisement

Location could not have been any better. The cottage was nice had everything you needed and was very clean
The only problem was there was no instruction for the central heating boiler

We liked the location for everything but the parking was very tight and the neighbour came out when we arrived asking if we were leaving the car there
The toilet blocked on Christmas Day morning so we had to get the maintenance team out to unblock . Looking at past reviews its been a problem before, this was a bit stressful

Was a lovely little house right in the town centre. The kitchen was in good condition, good size and everything worked with ease.
More details are needed prior to booking.
If the parking had been better explained before arrival a lot of hassle would be saved. The parking space itself is to the back of the property but how to access it is unclear. It is a two bedroom home but no where stated prior that only one parking space was available. The property next door also has a designated parking space which, if you were to park in there would be a clamp placed and a £50 removal fee. Understandable, if this was a notice in clear view. However, this notice was in the window of the next door property rather than my own and I just happened to see it by chance.
In addition, some photos of the exterior on the booking website would have been helpful. As a dog friendly stay we were unable to let our dog off the lead at the back of the property. A larger dog may have been okay with the gates shut but a smaller dog could have easily passed under / around onto the main road. Understandable for an old property in the town centre but again, would have been helpful to have better photos first then we could plan our stay better.

Cottage was cosy, well equipped and great location
Noisy road, but that can't be helped. Wish the outside at the back was more secure for the dogs, especially as the cottage description said there was a garden and its not quite a garden.

Perfect location. Handy with two decent supermarkets close by. Easy to unload/load the luggage. Cottage was very warm throughout our stay. Rooms were spacious.
Small patches of damp. Maybe a freshen up in decoration. Bit of road noise but didn't bother us too much particularly. A welcome pack is sometimes a nice gesture but not essential. However for full week paying clients it maybe worth thinking about.

Great location...comfortable cosy cottage with full kitchen and everything we needed for our mini break. Lovely lounge and little outside area which allowed us to make the most of the nice weather.
Lock on front door was difficult to operate, we used rear door so not a problem.

Fantastic location in Keswick, opposite a Co Op and a 5 minute walk from a supermarket. We left the car and walked some incredible trails straight from the doorstep. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a central location to explore the Lakes.

Central location, comfortable and clean.
The ginger haired lady who lived next door but one was extremely rude with regards to the parking. We parked very close up to the fence and tree as instructed by yourselves.
She was knocking on the door and calling out early Saturday morning. One of our group woke up and answered the door. The neighbour asked him to move the car when he explained he didn’t drive & he’d have to wake someone else, she say he was “causing a ruckus”.
We moved the car 2 inches forward - there was plenty of space. She decided then to park and block the exit for both us and the next door holiday makers. A very selfish woman with definite issues with holiday makers .

Great location in the centre of Keswick. All facilities were of a good standard and the layout downstairs made a small place feel large and comfortable. We'll probably steal some of ideas for our place!
Parking space is tricky but easier once you get the hang of it.

Everything was supplied that was needed, we brought our own tea bags, coffee etc although there was some there to get started. The bed was comfortable.
The internet was not great. The shared outdoor space could be better.

Good location for our needs
The noise of traffic outside which is unavoidable
Someone parked their car in front our dining room window where I had planned to sit outdoors so really that's a shame on a sunny evening and might prevent me booking again in the summer

Location was fantastic.
Parking is literally non existent unless you own a smart car.
