Excellent location and clean and modern kitchen and bathroom

Location is perfect with a 15 minute riverside walk into the centre of Keswick and right next to a lovely pub!

Main bedroom was too small, so we slept in the larger bedroom with 2 single beds. Outside area was not very nice, a table and chairs would have been better than a bench.

Ideal location and cosy cottage.

A cosy and warm cottage, twin beds which we slept in were very comfy. Had all the kitchen items you needed for cooking, crockery, cutlery and glasses.The location was ideal, just a 15mins walk into Keswick town centre. The Pheasant inn right next door was also very cosy and the dinner's were delicious with a great choice on menu and staff so friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends.

It would have been nice to have a small welcome pack for late arrivals ie small loaf of bread, small tub of butter, small pint of milk, some coffee sachets, some tea bags and some sachets of sugar. Also could do with a net curtain in the sitting room window as passers by seem to look in a lot.

Lovely well equipped cottage in great location, ideal for walking and sightseeing in northern Lakes.

Cottage very comfortable, well equipped kitchen and nice bathroom. Good TV, radio, Wi-Fi, easy to manage heating.

Rear yard entry/exit dirty and depressong. Bench provided but nothing to look at other than grubby stone wall so not suitable for any outdoor relaxation. A few pot plants or ivy covering wall would have helped. Only single toilet roll and almost empty bottle of washing up liquid supplied for 7 day stay, seemed quite stingy. "Double" bedroom tiny and dark so had to use single beds. Underside of bathroom sink plug covered in black mould and hair, which we bleached and cleaned. A courtesy call from agent or owner shortly after arrival would have been nice just a to ask if everything OK. No doubt this venue would be perfect for younger walkers but in our opinion not ideal for older couples or families.

Lovely place to stay, price increases making it harder each year so haven’t booked up again just yet

Always love staying here and seeing what’s new. The kitchen this year having been bathroom some time prior.

Wasn’t as clean as we have been used too. Lipstick on glasses, bathroom not clean to its usual standard.

Wonderful

Location excellent short walk into village home from home great wi-fi ,great little pub next door had a good meal there ok if you like dogs ! more dogs in there than humans but they were well behaved.Also a must is the Kingfisher Chip shop ,we had a meal in the restaurant excellent meal great walks around Derwent water only a mile from cottage to start off walk brilliant.We will certainly be back .Thanks for our comfortable stay Jeanette and G Michael

The car parks a bit pricey we only went Grasmere to pick up some Gingerbread the cheapest fee was £4.00for two hours we were only there half a hour .Also while driving around each car park is the same price and they charging to go into car park toilets a bit over the top

The cottage was very comfortable and clean. We loved the pub being next door.

Putting the vacuum cleaner on and it having a very unpleasant smell. The yard area could do with a bit brightening up.

Superb

Great accomodatiom walking distance from keswick town center (10min via park) with all things that are needed. We really liked that it was equipped with linen, towels, tv, wifi, all kitchen appliances plus more. There are games and dvds too. Its next to the pub and on busy road but none of these two disturbed us. Private parking for 2cars is an absolute plus. Checkin was very easy as property is equiped with key safe.

Great accommodation close to Keswick Town

Lovely cosy cottage. Great position. Quiet location. Easy walk to Keswick. Good that there are two parking places. Very handy to have washer/dryer. Modern bathroom, Glad of the towels, hand-wash, t-towels, great range of kitchen items,... overall a lovely stay, thank you! We would book again.

Bit slippery by the door with damp moss. Would be good to have gravel down maybe? One of the beds had pet hairs on the sheet and I was not aware pets/dogs were allowed in the property (Allergy concern)

Cool inside when very hot outside. Uncomplicated, simple living cottage.

Had to hunt for toilet rolls and bin liners. No hooks on door to hang clothes on in bathroom.

Exceptional

The cottage was within walking distance to Keswick and in a good location being next door to the Pheasant Inn and across the road from a great cafe. Very cosy and comfortable with a new bathroom.

The room with the double bed was a bit tight in that there wasn’t much room to either walk around the bed or to place your luggage anywhere in the room.
