Spacious 1st Floor Apartment

Everything. It was extremely clean, had a wonderful shower, very comfortable beds, spacious lounge with kitchen and was in a nice location just out of the town and opposite a lovely park. I would look no further than this apartment when I re-visit Keswick.

The only downside was that although it is a two bedroomed apartment there is only one parking space. There is however free parking on the road a few minutes walk away.

Ideal location, as 10 minute walk into town along the river and I’m a slow walker. Parking to rear of property. Owner, Lara, provided helpful information. Clean, comfortable, good quality fabrics and furnishings. Well equipped kitchen. You only need to buy fresh milk prior to arrival. The rooms are large and spacious and surprisingly quiet. Good to have a door code and not a key, as we could come and go independently of one another when we wanted to do that. The water pressure was also good, so having a rainfall shower head with good water pressure was lovely. We’ve stayed in Keswick a few times, but not here before, but will come again. I would have given 10/10, if the minor points I’ve made below weren’t needed.

Minor things that would enhance the stay. I like a large towel (bath sheet). There isn’t a table, shelf or vanity unit in the bathroom, although I think there is room between the boiler cupboard and the basin. I don’t have paraphernalia I need in the bathroom, but as a nurse, I know people who do and need it on a flat surface, so this would be really helpful. Ditto for the large bedroom, which has a small vanity shelf, but could do with a dressing table or something like that instead.

A really good size apartment with two good sized bedrooms. Bathroom also a good size and the living room/kitchen was ideal and well stocked. Easy walk into the town so can leave the car. Lena was easy to deal with when asking anything and we’d certainly rebook another time.

Shame it’s a shower in the bath is the only thing I can say which would be tricky for more elderly to get and in out of but that wasn’t an issue for us.
