Yes, but....
Location is in an elegant and upscale part of the city. Several direct buses to the old town or the EU quarter. Carrefour, ALDI, pizzerias, bars, night shops nearby. **** Straightforward description how to approach the apartment and get the keys. Well-timed automated messages from the owner/manager. **** Relatively spacious apartment indeed. **** Clean. **** Comfortable bed, clean and fresh bedlinen. **** Effective heating on cold December nights, intuitive control unit to fine tune the temperature. **** Modern bathroom. **** Well equipped kitchen. **** Fast and reliable wifi.
"Location is in an elegant part of the city." - Yes, but far from the center. **** "Several buses to the old town or the EU quarter." - Yes, but the ride takes 30-40 minutes. If you miss the last bus at night, taxi can be expensive. **** "Straightforward description how to approach the apartment and get the keys." - Yes, but the main gate operates with a 6-digit password that you must memorize. The lock on the apartment works with a physical key, but the whole door and the lock look sloppy. **** "Well-timed automated messages from the owner/manager." - Yes, but absolutely no response to any real time questions. **** "Relatively spacious apartment." - Yes, but the rooms are weird, á la Bruxelles. The middle room has no windows. All the rooms are narrow and long. The stairs are narrow and long too (typical of local architecture). **** "Clean." - Yes, but that poor couch in the middle room has seen better (and cleaner) days. It's full of stains. Not too inviting to sit down. **** "Comfortable bed, clean and fresh bedlinen." - Yes, but there is only one socket near the bed, so you have to choose if you want to charge your phone or have the small table lamp switched on. Bring your own extension cord. **** "Effective heating on cold December nights" - Yes, but upon arrival the whole system was completely shut down. It took time to figure out how to start and manage the system. **** "Modern bathroom." - Yes, but not too convenient. There are no hangers. No shelf in the shower cabin (for the shower gel). The shower gel/shampoo looks like some leftover from previous guests. **** "Well equipped kitchen." - Yes, but the kitchen ventilation did not work. There was no cork screw (OK, no wine) or decent beer glass (OK, no beer either). **** "Fast and reliable wifi." - Yes, but it was down upon arrival, the router had to be located and re-started.

Perfect location to go to Forest National, nice apartment.
My room was not cleaned after the guests before me. I found a dirty and unchanged bed, dirty shower, dirty table, trash on the floor. They sent a person to make the bed while I was there. Terrible experience.

Gekozen voor de ligging bij Vorst Nationaal,, in een rustige straat, weinig lawaai
Zetelbed heeft wel z'n beste tijd gehad, de stof vd bank was niet zo netjes, het bed zelf was ok. Weinig restaurants in de buurt.

Studio sympa pour se reposer après Forest National 😊
L'emplacement, le studio est propre, c'est calme et pratique pour se rendre à Forest National.
Communication au top, l'hôte est à l'écoute même si on ne le voit pas.
Le four n'est pas propre.
C'est au 3 ème étage et la cage d'escalier est étroite, il faut y prendre compte pour les plus âgés.
Le divan-Lit est à revoir (tâches et confortable que d'un coté, le dossier reste dur).
Manque d'étagères dans la sdb pour déposer les affaires.
La nuit, les lumières de la tv et décodeur sont assez fortes pour ceux qui aime être dans le noir, dans la chambre également avec le led du plafond qui reste allumé (léger mais trop voyant)
