Brussels: Apartment/ flat - BRUXELLES

Lovely well equipped appartment near the station. Check in process requires several steps, but is well explained by the owner. The breakfast supplies were very appreciated. Only downsides is that the apartment is very dark, even with all the lights on, and the concrete floors make it cold underfoot. Wish I had packed slippers!

Pros: We loved the location of this apartment. We were close to the train station and were able to walk to almost everything we visited. It was very quiet and tucked away from all noise and traffic. The kitchen was a very pleasant surprise - stocked with bread, milk, juice, butter, jams and coffee. It was extremely helpful to not have to shop for many groceries. It was fairly easy to enter with excellent instructions. The only thing we had trouble with was how to open the gate to get out from the inside but as soon as we discovered the button on the wall, it was very easy. Con’s: The apartment was advertised as having 2.5 or 3 bathrooms and we just want to be clear that there is only ONE toilet, two sinks and two showers. It was awkward for two couples to have to share one toilet. We did not get any check in or check out instructions until messaging to ask for them. The blind in the one bedroom is broken so once it was pulled down it had to stay. We smelled cigarette smoke in the evenings (probably neighbours on their patios) but it was not pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this apartment as long as you are aware of the few issues.

Very cool & modern place with tons of space, description & photos are accurate. It's conveniently located 5 mins from Zuid Midi Station. This was by far the best value we found in Europe visiting 10 countries. A previous guest damaged the patio door so it was a little cold but the host was responsive with solutions. Wish we stayed here longer.

The apartment is modern with two spacious bedrooms (one partly ensuite) and an open-plan living area. It’s a bit dark inside but worked fine for our stay. The complex is close to public transport, a 25-minute walk to the city, and surrounded by plenty of shops for essentials.We did run into a few issues—getting access was tricky at first, the lift was out for most of our stay (not great with big suitcases), and there was a power outage one morning.On the plus side, the owner kindly stocked basics like milk, bread, butter, and coffee. Overall, a decent stay, though the building issues and roadworks outside were a bit disruptive.
