The apartment is well situated in the centre of town, close to the market, shops, restaurants and the harbour. It is an easy walk to station. The bed and furnishings were comfortable. The apartment was nice and clean. The air conditioning is only in the main room, but worked well. We liked the small balconies, which allowed us to open doors and let in fresh air. Some minor maintenance is required. The fridge seal was loose, the bottom of doors could be cleaned and the bottom of the shower door frame looked a little rusty. The outside of the building had some graffiti on the wall, which made it look scruffy.
The property management responded very quickly using WhatsApp when we asked questions.
We did not receive an entry code for the key safe until we arrived outside the building, which worried us a little. It would be an improvement if information on the property (where things are and how they work) were provided. Also some information on the local area. We have stayed in lots of properties and some information is always provided, such as what to do in an emergency and contact numbers. If was very much find out for yourselves. The entrance hall was being painted the day we arrived, and was then left in disarray for the 7 nights we stayed. The lift looked old and we were at first not sure it was working. Possibly some safety implications with electrical cupboard doors left open and cables on the stairs, but we were not in the UK.
