3 bedroom stylish house - Quiet & Central with free parking

Location was OK and close to where we needed to be.

We had to pay a cash deposit on arrival (which had not been made clear when booking this) and an extra £80 for cleaning because we had a dog - it was the most I have ever been charged extra for bringing a dog so definitely not 'dog friendly'. We discovered the third bedroom had clearly been used and not made up - the bed linen was in a heap on the bed. There was a hole in the floor by the sink which was covered by a mat but a trip hazard. Sugary food and drinks left in the fridge which are charged extra, but no basics like milk or coffee. Garden had random mops and buckets dumped in it. The wood burning stove was taped up with red and white plastic tape as it was not to be used which looked really tacky. There was no where comfortable to sit and eat food - the two bar stools weren't comfy to try and eat anything. We didn't feel comfortable spending any time in the house because the owner had our cash deposit and as we were not able to be there during check out we didn't want to risk any kind of issue being raised about the return of the money. We slept there and tried to be out of the house for most of the day.
