Parking charge to stay was £10 for the evening, I don’t know if this was mentioned in the booking reference or if I missed it but it didn’t expect it. I mean it’s probably fair for the area. If I’d of spotted it or known beforehand I’d of probably found a side street, although it would’ve been a walk. This is my only nitpick

One night for a Christmas event. Hotel exceeded expectations.

Room was spacious and very comfortable and appeared to be recently renovated, as did most parts of the communal areas. Stylish and modern. Above expectations.

We had a bar lunch the following day which could have been better.

A very nice hotel near Solihull centre

There was a good selection at breakfast , the location was good and we were easily able to walk into the town centre

Some of the cooked breakfast wasn’t very warm but it’s always heard to keep food warm when it’s sitting out . The TV in the room kept going off and we discovered that there was a faulty wire hanging from the TV, I took a picture of it and showed reception staff as it was quite dangerous . There was also what looked like a red wine stain on one of the pillows , again I showed a picture of this to reception staff on check out.

Not amazing, not too bad, good perhaps for one night stay but wouldn’t stay more.

Outdated, definitely doesn’t feel like 4 stars. There was also a massive party with music extremely loud and although I was at a higher floor and the party was ground floor, you could still hear the music rather loudly. Definitely not soundproofed.

I loved the atmosphere and the appearance of the hotels.

The Air con wasn’t really working properly I turned it to warm I could barely feel the heat and when I opted for cold I could barely feel the breeze. Slight problem with the shower it has abit of black debree on the shower head holder

Really good size room and bathroom, nice hot water in the shower. Super comfy bed. Lovely helpful staff. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise, lots of choice in the buffet and the menu. Looking forward to coming back to try the spa.

Nice hotel but due to the fine worry and £10 charge a day for parking I wont be returning.

Pool, room and staff polite

Receptionist didnt appear to have sorted cards for access properly as couldnt get back into room after had left. I received a car parking fine too despite having paid reception. It was resolved by staff I was informed but it is a worry given I was left waiting to hear a couple of days or so. There were quite a few waiting to check in so took quite a while to go through process which was evidently not done correctly; hence the fine.

This a a beautiful hotel decor is lovely. Rooms looked lovely.

Unfortunately we never stayed the hotel had an event we were not aware. The receptionist were very apologetic tried to put us in a quiet room and whilst they can't account for the guests the rooms either side of us were having a party With the event and loud music number of we felt we could not stay. Receptionists were very nice we got a full refund but we're gutted and had to find alternative accommodation at short notice after travelling all day..Would have helped if we were made aware in advance and could make an informed choice. Ruined our weekend away

Really elegant vibe with fantastic staff

The room was fantastic with high quality facilities and commodities. We loved the breakfast; it was very easy with plenty of options. The bar staff were very helpful, providing us with bucket and ice for some champagne twice. I also think the reception staff were fantastic. I believe Saleem checked us in and he was very helpful and kind. When we first got to our room, we felt that the family next door were particularly loud (they seemed to be having fun), so we decided to ask whether we could swap rooms. The reception staff were happy to accommodate this and moved us instantly.

Perfectly placed in Solihull. Large carpark. Staff are so kind and efficient. Checking was quick. Hotel has a nice feel. Room clean and comfortable. Breakfast very tasty. Leisure area is nice. Check out was equally quick.

I don’t drink tea or coffee m, but do like a hot chocolate. Stayed only one night this time, but like one day out of four on our last visit, the hotel seemed to have run out of hot chocolate. This seemed a bit strange. (I don’t know why they can’t have available a small supply of the packets the hotel uses in the rooms for this situation)

The check-in was really good and Khajda was very helpful.

The room I first shown was like a shoe box - Claustrophobic and tiny with a shower over the bath. I was not happy with this so went down to reception to ask for a change. This was given, to a much more suitable room. My room price did not include breakfast which was surprising due to the cost!

I found the reception staff very unfriendly. I got eyerolled when I asked to have two keys and it seemed unreasonable. They didn’t explain what facilities are available so I had no idea until I left that there was a spa and pool. However the room was very comfortable and a very nice size.

Two single bed instead of a double not clear on the booking form that there was an option Car parking was not included, which going to an event at the hotel thought it should have been as guests who just went to the Ball did not pay!

For breakfast it was really lovely, food was well warm and plenty of options. Definitely spoiled for food choices. Everything tasted fresh and staff were lovely. Bedroom was immaculate, lovely shower and very comfortable bedding. Amazing facilities as well like the pool or sauna. Dinner was amazing and staff were again, absolutely lovely.
