It was warm and welcoming. The host is a nice chatty gent. Would stay again.
It is a little tired decoration wise in the family room.
It was advertised in the room as being able to order evening meal, but that did not include Friday,Saturday .

The host is very flexible and accommodating. We were allowed to check in at 9am rather than stated 3pm. We were also able to check out at 1pm.
We agreed on the breakfast options beforehand and were made fresh as we arrived downstairs for the breakfast.
The lodge has been there for a good few years and could do with modernisation but I guess this can only happy if he gets busy again.
In terms of cleanliness, it can be slight more cleaner but that was just to remove cobwebs and dust from window seals etc. This didn’t bother us.
