A really nice comfortable place to stay. Spotlessly clean, very friendly staff, food great and freshly cooked. A really friendly atmosphere for a single woman to stay. Love the log fires and the sofas

Friendly comfortable place to stay.
Heating wasnt on and after walking all day, wet clothes could not dry off. Cold room, no hanging space for coats or clothes so had to stay in the bag. Party in the pub but was advised this would happen that night, Was noisy but what you expect from living above a pub. Different to the room we stayed in 6 weeks prior which made us stay again. If staying in this room next time would ask not to be put in this room again.

The breakfast was delicious.
The rooms were spacious for the 5 of us.
The ambiance was perfect for a cosy, festive feel.
Our room had family games, which our children loved playing.
The staff were all really helpful and accommodating.
There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Quiet location, staff friendly and room very comfortable. Took the dog and she was welcome in the pub and room. Lovely warm woodburner in the pub whilst having a meal after a wet walk. Access after hours to our room when staying out late gave us the flexability to see friends. No option for hot breakfast the week we stayed but was given a complimentary basket with various porridge, pastries and cereals which was enough for us.
There was nothing I didnt like.

Very welcoming staff: Mark, Sue and Molly. Mark proved to be good at Information Technology and cooking and was very hospitable - he is also a plasterer - I reckon he could turn his hand to anything in a calm way. Molly was very polite and helpful as was Sue. The breakfast was good. If ever we needed help in operating the TV or getting the Internet, Molly and Mark were straight on with the task. The furniture and fittings are of a high standard.
NOT APPLICABLE as everyone and the facilities were good. Perhaps a chair rather than a stool in the room?

It is a lovely traditional building. We were given a lovely warm welcome, and nothing was too much trouble. After being shown to our room, we were brought a jug of iced water.
The evening meal and the breakfast were both tasty.

Stayed just one night as visiting friends in the area but would love to return. Warm welcome and shown to room by Molly. Room was super clean, beds comfy. We didn't eat in but ordered 3 x chips to take away - home made and delicious!
Full English in the morning was fabulous but would prefer a choice and maybe something lighter.
Really lovely place and great value - thank you!
More breakfast options (lighter/ healthier) but still enjoyed it!

We visited The Greyhound inn a few weeks ago while working locally and when we discovered we were working nearby again this week, staying at the Inn was a no-brainer.
The Food, the friendly staff, the shower, the overall facilities, the good carpark for my Van and great value for money too. If we're working nearby in future, we'll certainly look to stay again, or pop in for a Pint!

Very clean . Freshly refurbished. Room nice with all facilities.
The breakfast was very good . Food on offer was very limited . As The Greyhound was the only pub in the village it made it difficult to have to go out to eat if u didn’t really want to after a busy day . More choice is needed which obviously would make u stop in and spend money at the Inn. Staff very attentive.

Very welcoming and staff was all amazing. The room amazing, spacious and comfortable. My kids loved it. The family room for 5 was perfect as the kids had a linked room off our room but only our room was linked to the way out. Sets your mind at ease. Food was excellent and great value for money. Was delicious for the evening meal and breakfast. Some very happy tummy’s. All my kids loved the food too. Would definitely recommend for families.
Nothing everything was perfect from getting there to leaving we couldn’t fault them at all. We all loved staying there.

Great location in a beautiful little village. Recently refurbished but they’ve kept all the original charm. Beautifully furnished, comfortable rooms with tea, coffee and everything you’d expect in a hotel. We stayed as a group and it was ideal as the rooms accommodated all three families. The 5 bed room was ideal for the kids to all sleep together. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were looked after. We’d all just been to a funeral so their warm hospitality was greatly appreciated. Food was fantastic and amazing value for money. This place was a great find and I recommend it to anyone passing through, visiting the lakes or just wanting a night away.

Lovely little b&b in a quaint village close to many Lake District areas where we wanted to visit. The food was SO reasonable and very tasty. Would definitely go back, very dog friendly.

The greyhound inn was an amazing place to stay! We loved every second of our stay and was honestly sad our stay ended. The room was absolutely immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed provided such as clean bedding with blankets, toiletries with fresh towels, tea coffee and sugar with a kettle, WIFI and TV. The staff was absolutely amazing and such lovely down to earth people and i honestly can’t thank them enough for the attention to detail and done everything and more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The greyhound is a beautiful pub in the heart of the countryside within the Lake District. The prices were more than reasonable and there it was so lovely to have a meal and drinks of an evening and had a real sense of comfort. We would 100% be booking to come back and stay again. I would lastly like to say a special thank you to Lisa for making our stay so perfect. Our time at the greyhound was so perfect and we can not wait to come back again. Thank you all so much.
Nothing at all! Our stay was perfect. I can’t fault a single thing.

The beds were comfortable, and the room was spacious and tastefully decorated. The rooms also had their own name.
The bathroom could use a hook to hang clothes inside.

Alles in allem sehr gut.
Nichts.
