Tellers secret loft apartment The Bank of England

Prachtige loft midden in de stad, voorzien van alle gemakken. Ruime keuken voorzien van vaatwasser, toaster, flinke koelkast met vriesvak en voldoende serviesgoed. Fraai ingerichte kamers en het dakterras is ruim en kijkt uit over de stad.

Het is echt een hele klim helemaal naar boven naar de loft, met bagage is dat zeker een flinke klus. Er is géén lift, als je dus niet zo goed te been bent is dit appartement een no-go. De zon staat de hele dag op het appartement: vooral de living is dan bloedheet. Er is géén airco, dus ook de andere kamers en keuken warmen overdag flink op in de zomer.

Loved our stay however, my own things I thought could have been better were: We stayed as a 5, there were not enough towels, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and hard with no spare duvet or pillow, the loft was extremely hot on arrival with no air con weather outside was 28c. I also think there could be better signage at the main lobby.

The location was great, really central but quiet, and the decor was fun. It was ideal to have a sun terrace as it was a beautiful weekend.

The arrival instructions were very poor - it’s a big building and it was very unclear where to go once we were inside. We had to be helped by someone who lived there. Clearer instructions and signage are required. The hot water and heating failed on our last day so we all had cold showers on our last morning. I reported it but it was too late before checkout to do anything about it. The beds were ok but not very comfortable - thin mattresses with noisy springs. We used the living room as a third bedroom and the curtains were too thin to block the light. There’s no coffee machine and an absolutely tiny coffee pot so it wasn’t possible to make a decent cup of coffee. A microwave would also be a useful addition.
