No chair to relax in. Apartment very cold when I arrived and found it difficult to adjust control. Could not find basic channels on TV ie BBC1, ITV etc

Great looking but awkward apartment

The apartment looked lovely and was in a lovely little area with shops and pubs. It was very close to St.Michaels hospital which was the focus of my stay.

Getting in was difficult. There was a code for the front door and for the apartment door. I had been given the wrong code. Getting in every time required a code. The heating wasn’t easy, it took me a couple of days to get it right, Each radiator needed adjusting separately. The mattress I guess was cheap and was uncomfortable. There wasn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit. I used the oven once to heat something up and I removed cooking items first which were greasy which put me off cooking.

The location was great. The studio had everything I needed, it was very cosy and lovely decor.

Perfect studio apartment for exploring university and Clifton areas of Bristol

Great location on St Michael's HIll, very close to University. Nicely furnished and decorated studio apartment, with all the amenities we needed. Mocha Mocha cafe a couple of doors away is brilliant, excellent coffee and home cooked/baked food prepared and served by friendly Italian owners/hosts. Highbury Vaults, 5 minutes walk away is an outstanding pub, with a model train running through it!

Parking in the centre of Bristol is very difficult - though this had been pointed out in the apartment information.

Essentially great, except for the lack of towels. But would definitely stay again

The property was in a great location, clean and well presented. The pre-arrival instructions for check in were brilliant and the additional guides to the premises and the area (particularly parking) were excellent - the bed was extremely comfortable & the shower was great.

Unfortunately, we were only supplied with one bath towel and when a second was requested we only had a bath mat and hand towel delivered - neither of which had been required. The only other niggle was the position of the television - up too high and not really able to be repositioned for a better viewing angle due to it’s proximity to the kitchen cupboards.

Great location and apartment was spacious (except the sleeping area), well appointed and finished to a high quality. Co-op directly across the road had everything you need for a short stay. Very good instructions on entry and details on how to work appliances.

Our room turned out to be a lower ground floor apartment (which we were unaware) with very limited daylight. This should be made clear in the description. Despite having the window open all the time, there was limited air movement and the apartment was too warm, dark and stuffy even in October! There was a constant, strong and very unpleasant smell from the shower room drain which permeated throughout the apartment. The boiling water tap didn't work so emailed and called: received a return call the following but no action was taken during the 3 days we were there. Had to boil water in a saucepan for tea. The kitchen was clean but the floors were not clean - dust and hairs on the floors in both the bathroom and main room. The laundry for the block was directly through the wall and the washing machine was turned on early every morning - 5.45am on one day. Suggest this should be limited to eg. 8am.

Good quality apartment

Very good quality apartment and professionally run. The property is accessed via key codes so no need to collect keys. It is up a very big hill but that is to be expected in Bristol. It was easy walking distance to Clifton and the city centre with a co op store opposite and cafes and bars close by. It would not be suitable for those with mobility issues as the internal stairs are quite steep.

It was a bit noisy. The students weren't back from summer holiday when I was staying so it wasn't too loud. I slept with the window open as it was warm. The bin men, the staff from a nearby pub/restaurant and the seagulls woke me up. This wouldn't stop me from staying again but I would bring my ear plugs.

Good apartment, bad process

The apartment was well maintained and easy to get in and out of.

The whole process pre check in was unpleasant: multiple pressure instances to fill an online check in process days in advance, request for documents over email with no privacy disclaimer, push to contact to choose a bed type only to find out there was only one available.

Perfect location and facilities for UOB graduation

A lot of sockets around the room and the appliances were modern.

We stayed on the top floor apartment 4 and 5 and there were a lot of steep steps. Perhaps we missed this in the description.

Great facilities, good location, comfortable

Well thought out in layout, good decor, lovely shower.

Was disappointed to find a badly soiled mattress protector - this was found when we thought we would be helpful to the housekeeper and strip the bed. There was other cleaning issues but really these issues was only about attention to detail which would have given the apartment a ‘wow’!

Great for visiting the university.

The apartments are very close to the University, so that was really handy for a conference I was attending. The apartment is very nicely appointed.

There was a bit of road noise but I did sleep well (but needed to keep windows closed).

Top o' the Hill

Basement flat and building finished to very high standard - everything you would need available

St Michaels Hill is a bit of a trek especially after a day out down in the centre but walk over to Redland & Clifton is fine with many beautiful university buildings

Good, with some flaws

The bed was comfortable, the apartment was really clean, easy to get to and well equipped.

The shower didn't work properly, it switched between boiling hot and freezing and basically just trickled out. I couldn't figure out the heating so the flat was really cold.

Great place to stay at with wonderful service agents.

Shout out for the great customer service from Diego, Aneta and Joe! We loved how well the space was organised and that it had everything we needed.

Not a big thing given our short stay, but we very nearly ran out of toiletries such as shampoo and toiletpaper. It would be great if the cleaning crew could leave more next time.

All good. Everything I needed for my weekend stay in Bristol including an iron and an ironing board. I was in town for a wedding.

I personally don’t like hot water out of a tap. I prefer to put mineral water in a kettle.

Tot rust komen in een klein paradijsje net buiten Bristol

De studio is ruim en stijlvol ingericht en de keuken genereus uitgerust. Bijzonder was de functie om meteen kokend water aan de kraan te kunnen nemen (voor English Breakfast tea!). Ons favoriete plekje was het tafeltje aan het raam, met zicht op de binnentuinen van de buren. Grote badkamer met inloopdouche en perfecte regeling van de temperatuur van het water. Het appartement ligt boven op een helling, buiten het stadscentrum (met enkele moois pubs onderweg, onder andere in een kerk!). We mochten zonder enig probleem gebruik maak van de late 'checkout' en de dame die kwam poetsen was heel vriendelijke en geduldig toen we een paar minuten te laat waren. De lokale winkels (onder andere Co-op supermarkt, die laat open is) en pubs zijn zeer sympathiek en verwelkomend: geeft een beetje een dopsgevoel. Probeer zeker de pub 'Highbury Vaults', inclusief het terras buiten, de modeltrein en de lokale honden - met baasjes.

Wat we erg vervelend en stresserend vonden was dat we voor onze aankomst gevraagd werden om voor onze aankomst in te checken bij Your Appartment (verhuurder van appartementen in Bristol en London), via een knop 'personalise my stay'. Zeer vreemd was dat we dan gevraagd werden om onze kredietkaartgegevens in te vullen en zo 150 pond waarborg te betalen. Uiteindelijk bleek dit inderdaad overeen te komen met de 'terms and conditions' van Your Appartment, maar het blijft wel erg eigenaardig (zeker in deze tijd van online fraude) dat je bovenop de gegevens die je aan Booking geeft (inclusief Visakaart), ook nog eens gevraagd wordt om dezelfde gegevens (inclusief Visakaart!) aan een verhuurder door te spelen. Dit gaf onnodige stress. Nog enkele details: er is geen lift in het gebouw, dus wel even sleuren met koffers. Er is ook geen receptie of personeel aanwezig. De lampekap in de woonkamer flikkert aan en uit.

床很好睡，熱水夠熱，廚房設備很方便，但要記得打開抽油煙機，也有附冰箱在炎熱的夏天非常好用。對面就有一個超市非常方便，旁邊就有好吃的早餐和咖啡以及麵包店。

沐浴用品和牆壁上的架子不合，有一罐已經毁損被放在另一端，罐子很難壓，所以很難使用。沒有提供面紙或餐巾紙。對於外地來的旅客很不方便。窗戶沒有紗窗，但也因為沒有空調天氣炎熱熱的時候需要開窗戶，會有許多蟲子飛進來，如果能加裝紗窗會更好。廚房沒有提供料理的任何食材，包括油鹽黑胡椒等，如果有想要自己主食的人可能要自己帶。

Doskonałe mieszkanie blisko uniwersytetu

Nowe, czyste i wyposażone w niezbędne rzeczy mieszkanie, nawet większe niż się spodziewałem. Na początku był kłopot z wejście przez zamek elektroniczny, ale po telefonie szybko uporano się z awarią. Dobry kontakt z personelem, w razie potrzeby. Po drugiej stronie ulicy jest lokalny supermarket i bardzo dobry, klasyczny angielski pub. Polecam szczególnie osobom pracującym na uczelni, do głównego budynku uniwersytetu jest mniej niż 10 minut spaceru.

Z wyposażenia brakuje czajnika. I to chyba jedna wada tego miejsca.
