Great facilities. Exceptionally clean, quiet location, highly recommend.

The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. I had the room at the top of the stairs so the shared bathroom was immediately opposite, again spotlessly clean. I was given a choice of towels and toiletries are in the bathroom. Downstairs in the modern, beautifully clean kitchen you can enjoy breakfast. I made a hot drink, had toast with choc spread. A packet of juice and piece of fruit. The owners are very friendly and helpful, giving advice about taxis as I wanted to get to the Moonwalk event. Other guests were respectful of the property. It's their family home. Very close to bus stop, buses 14 and 30 to the City. Selection of shops very close by and the park with Craigmillar Castle in, well worth a look, maybe 10 mins walk.

If you are taller the bed might be a little short for you.

Perfect stay in a cozy home.

We only stayed in Samsara Home for two nights but we had such a great time there. First of all the hosts were absolutely amazing and super kind. The room was very clean and decorated with a lots of love. And the bed was super comfy.

Friendly staff, beautiful room, comfortable bed, and nice breakfast

Samsara House was a wonderful surprise. The staff was very friendly, our room was beautiful, and the bed was SO comfortable. We were driving a rental car, and parking was easy. However we didn't want to drive more than necessary in the city, and found that taking the bus to Edinburgh's Old Town from this location was equally easy. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked, and the included breakfast was but plenty. Although we didn't stay long enough to visit it, there is also a huge park adjacent to the property with a castle if you are interested. Would definitely recommend.

STAY AWAY!!

Advice: STAY AWAY!! This stay offers you a small children's bedroom, with one double bed and 2 infant beds. None of the bedrooms pictures are relevant. The hosts live in the house during your stay, and you will have no privacy at all as their small child will be walking in and out of that small bedroom you're allocated to. I travelled with my 15 year old daughter and chose this stay as I liked the pictures of bedrooms on the advert, 3 beds and the title 'Samsara home'. I misread somehow that the hosts stay with us, but it wouldn't be a problem if... We arrived to the house around 8pm travelling all the way from London. We were told to wait as the hosts were 'at the shops'. They arrived 15 min later and the first thing I was told to move my car from the driveway, so they can park their own car there. Then, entering the house we were told to take our shoes off. I had some shopping with me as I wanted to cook dinner but I wasn't offered to see the facilities, the husband of the family went to the kitchen to eat his dinner and we were forwarded upstairs to our bedroom. When I saw the bedroom I was shocked. There was a small double bed and an infant bed as a small house on the wall like a box. I asked how my 15 year old would fit in there?? The host said that they had 3 adults staying here, and it is OK... My daughter said she wouldn't fit in it. The host left us to think about it. Meanwhile, her daughter came into our bedroom and started climbing up and down to that 'bed house'. There were toys everywhere and the house looked messy. We decided we couldn't stay there. I had to book a hotel and leave. We had a booking with Samsara home for 2 nights and the hosts refused to refund. We paid 247 pounds for nothing. Booking.com said they can't do anything about it! Estadía en Edimburgo

La atención de Débora, siempre atenta y dándonos tips de cómo viajar. La habitación tenía todo lo necesario y muy limpia. El baño todo equipado. La ubicación es excelente, hay un bus a 150 metros más o menos, que te lleva al centro y anda todo el día y la noche. El desayuno completo y excelente. Volveríamos sin dudarlo y vamos a volver así se lo prometimos a Débora.

Een goede plek om na een lange dag uit te rusten.

Het was goed geregeld. We konden hier ontbijten, de bedden waren helemaal prima, de douche/badkamer was goed. Qua voorzieningen en gastvrijheid was het goed geregeld.

Er was te weinig ruimte in de kamer om comfortabel een koffer te openen. Wij deelden met 3 mensen 1 koffer, waardoor het nog licht te overzien was, maar het was wel een heel gedoe.

Het bed. Het was een luchtbed! Op de kamer de normaal voor de massage wordt gebruikt . Ontbijt erg sober. Poederkoffie en alleen toast en jam.
