Exactly what we were looking for.

Lovely simple property. Beds very comfy, quiet, clean and warm. Located right on a bus route into Edinburgh town centre. Parking right outside was a massive bonus.

Quiet location with good facilities such as kettle toaster & TV with good wifi. Good supply of shower gel, shampoo & conditioner etc

We were a group of 4, 1 of the rooms on ground floor was fine however the other room the bed was so uncomfortable and carpets were very dirty. Heating instructions not clear and shower did not work for duration of our stay.

Great wee flat for Rugby weekend

Great value for money, close enough to Edinburgh city centre and Murrayfield.

Nice wee apartment for a weekend away.

The fact it was 2 double bedrooms with double beds. There was also spare soaps, shampoo and body wash. There was sufficient cutlery, crockery and pots.

The toilet is in need of repair and was running constantly, there was no cushions on the sofas. No hand towel in the bathroom or the kitchen. The mattress in the smaller double room was hard as a rock.

Great location for catching bus into Edinburgh CBD

Located in a convenient spot within walking distance of shops, this apartment is on the second floor. A bus stop for the bus that goes into Edinburgh CBD is conveniently right out the front of the apartment which made travels to Edinburgh Castle etc. very easy & efficient. The apartment has two good sized bedrooms and a living room and kitchen. The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook meals. Beds were comfortable.

Didn't matter to us, but some may not like carrying suitcases etc up the flights of stairs.

Washing machine switch was hidden behind the microwave oven and was difficult to find. It would be good if the bathroom could have some more hangers.

Great place on the whole!

Good communication with the owner, allowed an early check in which we requested, thankyou. Good location in a quiet, safe neighbourhood. Free car parking in front of the apartment. Comfy clean beds. New settee and furniture in lounge area. Plenty of clean glasses, crockery and cutlery.

Cleaning could have been better. The towels and bathroom smelt musty (wish I'd packed my own towels). Bedroom carpet needed cleaning.

Good location but need some maintenance

We like the location is quite convenient to drive to the city and provide free car park. The apartment is neat and good in size for family.

The toilet door lock is broken and we nearly got locked inside. The window cannot close firmly making a bit noisy when sleep.

The location was ideal for us, right on a bus route direct into town and very quiet. It was a good sized apartment for us and reasonably well appointed.

The apartment was extremely hot, particularly through the night. Cleanliness was OK, but could have been better.

We enjoyed our Edinburgh stay

The cooking facilities were great, however some of the dishes needed re washing before using. There was plenty of room for the four of us. Having a car park a draw card.

A clothes airer would be an idea to make use of the washing machine. The second bed was a bit small for the two of us, the bigger room was fine.

Was a pleasant stay, very quiet.

Clean & spacious apartment. Public transport extremely close - easy to go into city. Heating was good. Beds & pillows were comfortable.

Steps up to third floor - difficult for older people to get suitcase up to flat. Very few toiletries supplied - only items left by previous guests. Window wouldn’t close & promise by landlord to see if cleaner could fix was not fulfilled. Shower flow was slow & only warm.

Could not understand why Late check-in fee is charged, when you are asked to just pick up key from a lock box. Housekeeper was not around House keeper response on phone sounded rather rude when we requested early check-in. Basic facilities only. No handwash or fresh set of toiletries available. Some repairs needed such as toilet flush

Pleasant Stay

My wife and I had a pleasant 5 night stay in this second floor, two bedroom apartment located in a quiet, clean neighbourhood, a short walk to the local bus stop for about a 20 minute ride to Edinburgh City Centre. Owner replied promptly to inquiries and arranged for our early check-in. Clean apartment and linens, and good wi-fi and choice of TV channels. Kitchenette and eating area were not large, but adequate for our stay.

One of the bedroom doors kept jamming on the carpet, so was very difficult to open and close. No dishwasher. Condensation leaked off the water pipes in the closet causing mould on the carpet. No elevator, so we caution to seniors with heavy bags. Minimal shopping close to the apartment.

Great location!

We loved the location, the personal meet and greet from the house keeper before we checked in, not having to worry about finding parking in a busy town and how easy public transport was to town from this apartment. Owners were responsive. Great location won us overall. The property is located on the third floor with no lift which was fine by us.

Only 1 key between 4 of us, only 1 pillow each, well used small bath towels, a very hard to lock bathroom door and no welcome manual.

POOR COMMUNICATION - NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN - TOO FAR OUT OF TOWN

It had free wifi.........

The kitchen was dirty. The bathroom was horrible. The shower was over the bath and was difficult to get into. The water pressure was so poor and the shower head was placed near to the corner of the shower you had to stand very close to the walls to have a shower. There was a lot of mould in the grout in the small tiles which I'm sure with a bit of bleach and a scrub would come clean. The hand basin had a large crack in it. There was no communication with the owner and where to find the key to enter the premises. We'd told him we had no phone to ring and could only use wifi. He suggested Whatsap, but needed wifi for that so that didn't help. When we arrived at the premises our taxi driver kindly offered to call the owner for us and he gave the code to him. We've stayed at many places and have always received an email the day before with entry instructions, but not here. As there was no email from the owner there were also no instructions for the wifi password. The apartment was 20 minutes out of town by car, and an hour by bus and the bus stop was quite a walk from the apartment. On our check out day, we were sitting on the couch when the front door opened and a lady with a small child started to come in. She was the cleaner thinking we had left. Our email from Booking.com stated a 12 o'clock check out but she said it should be 10 o'clock and she took a photo of my email and sent it to the owner. He then emailed back and said that checkout was at 10:30 and the email from booking.com was a generic email and they shouldn't send them out. I said that we'd had no other communication from him regarding check out time but we quickly finished packing up and left. As we'd booked our train for later in the day (because we thought our check out time was later), we ended up having to go to the train station early and sit there with our cases for a couple of hours.

A great place to stay

The flat was well equiped and very comfortable it had everything we needed .newly decorated from top to bottom in calming colours , very cosey and we will be back again .

I can't say there was anything i didn't like but a toaster would be a good adition to the kitchen . There is honestly nothing we didn't like about the flat or the staff.

Good flat conveniently close to a beautiful city

Great flat in a very convenient location, two double bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge, perfect for three of us. We could park the car in front, and catch the bus into the city, so we didn’t have to worry about parking in the centre. Buses were regular, clean and good value for money. We could get into Edinburgh in around 20/25 minutes, and happy to find it was a scenic route.

Would have liked a small unit next to the cheval mirror in main bedroom, handy for make-up and toiletries while getting ready. Just minor feedback!

We enjoyed our stay!

The property did not disappoint! Stayed here for a few days and we're very pleased we did. The apartment was spotless! It had everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable, the bedsheets even smelled lovely! A few details we found exceptional: 1. the apartment had safety equipment such as a fire blanket and an extinguisher (which you don't normally see in most of the rentals) 2. We parked our car, left it to travel by bus around the city which was absolutely convenient! We didn't have to struggle to look for parking spaces in the city centre, not to mention pay expensive parking fees! 3. The appliances and furniture in the property were of good quality, and it felt as if they were brand new. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay! We'll surely book the same apartment when we go back to Edinburgh!
