Pier House

The property is not a hotel . It’s an apartment complex. Seaside . A quiet reprieve from City Center . Moses met us at the location which was so gracious after a long drive . He was always available for any issue , of which there was non. There was a great breakfast spot , Porto n Fi , .9 mile walk . The Distillery was great view at night . Location at the port . Bus transport is very close to location

Comfy bed in quiet surroundings. Very clean, well maintained. Good flow of information conc. access etc.. Perfect for a short stay in the area.

Poor lighting in bathroom

Verhuurster Nadia was heel vriendelijk en reageerde snel op vragen. De locatie buiten het centrum aan het water was heerlijk. Het was niet groot maar we hadden alles wat we nodig hadden, zoals een goed en fris bed.

Geen tegenvallers.

The location was excellent, with great views across the bay. The apartment was very clean, as was the building itself. The area was very quite both day and night. The lift was very clean and efficient and always available. Again, the entrance hall, both at ground level and apartment level were very clean. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was more than adequate and the shower was powerful and the water very hot and plentiful. Excellent shower gel, shampoo etc were supplied and the bath towels were very thick and large. Perhaps a non slip mat for the older guests (such as ourselves) when using the bath and shower should be available?

Finding the key box to enter the building proved troublesome as did the code to access the apartment itself, although phone calls did solve these problems quite quickly. We decided to stay in the apartment, because of the view and balcony. However, we were unable to sit out and admire the views as there were no chairs or table supplied. Inside, the dishwasher and washing machine were still out of order as they were three weeks ago, when we booked the apartment. The facing of the freezer was missing. One of the curtains was hanging off the rail in its middle. There was no milk or tea bags and, as the apartment was set up for just two, with only two of everything, we had to wash plates and bowls when we had a three course meal, including mugs, knives, forks and spoons.
