With a bit of tlc would be perfect

Very big studio apartment, very comfortable bed and kitchen facilities were really good.

It could have been cleaner, cobwebs on the ceiling and there were mice, they must know about the problem as there were traps about the apartment, it ruined our stay unfortunately as we were having a lovely time until we seen them

Do not recommend

Location was good.

Lock on main door not working kept banging all night, no sleep, felt very unsafe. Kettle only good for the bin, absolutely filthy. Filter can't have been cleaned for years and looks like its had dirt boiled in it! Blocked in drive for over one hour because someone parked behind me! Towels for rooms stored in dirty open garage.

Worth a try

There was no staff in the residence, all instructions were sent remotely via WhatsApp, but that's ok. The room was spacious, with a comfy bed. A TV set was available. There was also a fully equipped kitchen (fridge, washing machine, stove, electric kettle, microwave) Very close to a bus stop.

I didn't like the bathroom - I think it needs a refurbishment... One of the taps was loose, a small shelf in a shower cabin was also loose. There was a huge crack between the wall and the skirting board.... Although WiFi was provided the signal was quite poor

Good place

It was a big room, every day the cleaning woman was coming, coffee, big kitchen. The area was pretty far from the center but at the same time it was really quiet

The shower was getting too warm and too cold really quickly. I couldn’t really shower a day because the water was too cold and was not gettin any warmer

Beautiful house outside, but that’s it… nothing else. Horrible experience.

We arrived during Christmas time expecting to be in this beautiful house, but we’ve been allocated in a adjacent building in the back of the house. In a very ugly extension. On our arrival the room was really stinky, full of hair from previous customers, sofa all stained, humidity marks on the walls and the decoration has nothing to do with the pictures, other than not having a kitchen as shown in the pictures. (Happy to share more pictures we took to prove it). We had to find and move to another property, during Christmas time, as the property was filthy, and spent more money on another property, other then having a horrible experience with my family. We claimed a refund and the owner denied it. So completely disgusting experience. Not recommended at all!

Bad Communication. We had not received written instructions neither by SMS no by email of check in procedure and plan of the entrance to the unit. We’re hanging around neighbours waking them up (at 10. PM). We were not provided with WiFI code and line. Would prefer have had some more dishes. Plates, folks..

Overall we had a pleasant stay. Value for money was good for Edinburgh, but room for improvement.

Location was good for us. Bed was comfy, shower was hot and good pressure. Lots of toilet roll provided. Spacious apartment. Tea and coffee and sachets of milk provided. Apartment was nice and warm. Entry and exit using the door codes was easy.

The upkeep of the apartment could have been better. The shower head was cracked and there were some cobwebs in the bathroom that could've been hoovered up and the paint was flaking off around the bathroom door. The previous people had left a loaf of bread in a kitchen cupboard that was going mouldy as well. Also, it would've been handy to have a "make up my room/do not disturb" handle to hang on the apartment door to indicate if housekeeping was required or not during our stay. I used one of the parking spaces at the top of the drive when we arrived, and when I needed to get my car out a second car had parked next to me and it was extremely tight trying to manoeuvre my car out of the space. I parked on the road after that in case it happened again.

Enough for a night of comfort

The property was excellent value for money having two levels, tv and tea and coffee facilities. A dining table.

A mini fridge or some storage for cold produce would make the room not lack any needed amenity.

Loved the apartment, it was spacious and clean but needs a bit of TLC in the bathroom appliances.

The location was great! Loved the space and openness of the room. The lady doing the cleaning was so lovely and friendly

You need to replace the bathroom sink, it’s not hygienic to wash your face in a sink that is smashed… also the shower and sink does drain properly and needs declogging. It’s also quite noisy, you can hear people having conversations above/beside you really easily which was off putting.

Family of 4 in apartment 1 -

I liked the warm room and spacious studio with its own shower, toilet, and kitchen with a microwave, fridge, cooker, and toaster. It also had two chairs and a table.

Two things, but they didn't spoil the visit: First, the off-road was a bit busy, and with small children, we had to be extra careful since Lanark Road is heavily trafficked. Don't try to park at the top; it's super tight unless you have a small car like a Fiat 500 or something similar... you'll have to back out on the steep drive. Second, the sink in the shower toilet room was cracked, but that didn't stop us from using it... the water just wouldn't go down right and needs a good clean to unblock it! - The wardrobe doors didn't close. But overall, it was a good stay, and I'd recommend it. 👍

Good Overnight Layover Accommodation for Edinburgh Airport.

Kitchen included a dishes, pans, refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, toaster and kettle. The bathroom has a fairly new shower.

The building is rundown and in need of repair. The driveway and 2 available parking spaces are extremely narrow.

A comfortable and clean property for a shortstay.

Property much bigger than expected. Very clean and confortable and housekeeping staff very pleasant and attentive.comfortable bed and good hot shower. Studio type main room but living and sleeping areas clearly defined.

Slightly further out from centre of city as we did not take a car ,but buses very close by and regular. Main problem was getting the key code(s) as details were sent to iPad which did not have WiFi. As we were leaving early in the morning asked for codes to be sent the afternoon before or to phone.We were told this was not possible. (Have since booked another holiday property and code sent a week before arrival. )The codes were sent as advised but could not download,so had to phone for them from the Station. NB book on phone in future! Similarly did not get wifi on iPad throughout stay as when requested we were given the entry codes! No visible password available. Quite a lot of noise from others in the property and a lot of coming and going,but pleasant and no trouble. Older building.

Worth the money, better than hotel room.

For the price we paid (was around £57) an excellent stay and exceeded expectations. Property clean and adequate facilities. Just a bit high so have to carry your luggage uphill. No issues at all otherwise. Would recommend 100%

Accommodation West of Edinburgh

One comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Bus stop with buses to Edinburgh centre close by. Free cancellation offered

The sofa bed was very uncomfortable and the bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom, therefore not a good option for more than two guests. Car parking on site is a pain as other reviewers have pointed out. Furnishings and fixtures a little worn. I contacted the property about previous reviews and they don't reply to any reviews.

Not uncomfortable but needs some TLC.

We got in late, but it was easy to enter by code.

It was further out of town than I expected but bus44 took us right out to it. There was peeling paint in the bathroom and when running the bath it went from extreme hot to cold without further adjusting the knobs. The bed springs were squeaky, though not uncomfortable. The overhead chandelier light also strobed unintentionally. Could be a problem for those prone to seizures. The biggest problem was no usb adaptor, so we plugged into the TV but then had the keep it on all night, but muted. Unfortunate on our part since our adapter was forgotten!

Not worth it

The bathroom had a good water pressure

The room felt claustrophobic. The entrance is at the back.. The photo in the picture is of the front which is not the residence. The entrance door had no locking mechanism. The bed in the living room was so thin it was impossible to sleep on it. The sofa had bugs in them.

It really worth it

I liked the size of the room, and that it was clean. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. Kitchen ready to cook and eat (toaster, pans, etc). Location is only 30min by bus to the city center.

I would add a second bedside table with a plug nearby. Taps in the toilet need to be repaired. And we were told that we could park inside the property, but another car parked and we couldn't make it okay, causing damage to our car because there's not enough space for 2 cars (not medium or big).

Nice place, could be more affordable

Good location, quiet neighborhood. Makes you feel like you’re living in Scotland! Came equipped with a washer and dryer and a full kitchen. (We did not check for pots/pans or laundry detergent) bed was comfy and the place stayed plenty cool.

Could hear the upstairs neighbors walking around and even plugging in their cords. Anytime someone opened the front door we could hear it quite clearly. One light was out in the bathroom. Seems like it could be better priced for the noise but overall a good stay.

Lovely place to stay.

The room was lovely, and all amenities were appreciated. We walked to a local pub, Kinleith Mill, and we would highly recommend it. Food and service were GREAT!!!

The distance to Edinburgh was further than stated in the reviews. We had to get an Uber to and from with an average cost of £16.00. Other guests were not as respectful, allowing their door to slam shut every time they came and went out their room and the main entrance, no fault to the property management themselves.

Great location, bus was only a few houses down the road to get into the city every 15 minutes or so. . Huge apartment. Comfortable bed and couch. Big kitchen.
