Affittacamere San Martino

I was told by host that there would be a male friend to give us keys. Then we arrived at property, there was a cleaning lady on site to give us keys. She didnt speak English and she looked confused what we were doing there. Then later she spoke with someone, I assume and gave us keys. I was a little taken aback when we realized the space was under the house, "Basement". It was the garage. I was impressed how they had turned the space into a functional room. But was terribly skeptical when I first saw. I was quite worried about safety. I did reach out to the host. She assured me but i was still a little worried. We just spent a night there aftr visitng Orvieto. The drive up the mountian and the view of Orvieto from the place si breathtaking. The host left us waters. And a fully equipped bathroom. She reached out the next day morning to enquire how our stay was, and to take our time to leave...however we had a prior engagement and had to leave early for the drive. I did not check my message soon enough, but she let me know to grab the cake and biscuits for our drive. I unfortunatley saw the message after we arrived at our next destination. Bummer!

I wish the shower stall had a shelf to keep soap, shampoo etc.

Our host was just lovely. Very kind and welcoming. Would be booking for longer next year.
