What an incredible find! We felt honored to stay in this special home.

Staying at Palazzo Febei was a highlight of our trip. The spacious home was immaculate and beautifully furnished, with comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. It was an absolute delight to come home to after a day of sightseeing. Our host, Alessandro, provided a wealth of useful information prior to our visit and was available by WhatsApp during our stay. His restaurant recommendations were excellent dining choices. I would definitely return—preferably for a longer stay! I highly recommend Palazzo Febei!

We had an excellent and restful stay in a beautiful apartment.

The apartment is fantastic, very spacious and very well furnished. The beds are particularly comfortable, very firm which is good for us. The furniture and decoration is traditional, much of it antique and this makes it a special place to stay. The location is very central and although Orvieto is quite small it was good to be right in the centre. Alessandro and his father and mother were very welcoming and Alessandro responded very promptly to any questions we had. We had an excellent and very restful time and are planning to return.

Historical Stay in Orvieto

This was far too large for one person but if you love history and would like a unique place to stay this is perfect place to stay. There is air conditioning in one bedroom which was vital since Orvieto was hotter than usual. The host couldn’t have been kinder and offered to drive me to the train station. The antiques and frescos on the ceiling are priceless. It’s located right on the Corso with lots of restaurants and coffee shops close by.

Since summers are getting hotter in Italy it might be a good idea to put air conditioning units in all the bedrooms.

Fabulous palace in Orvieto

This is a real palazzo! The most beautiful place we've ever stayed in. An apartment with an incredible atmosphere. Huge bedrooms and lounges with many interesting details. Wonderfully helpful staff. Picked our bags up from the station. We are fascinated by this place and would like to come back again! Grazie mille Cezare and Alessandro!

Historic property you won't want to leave

Our second visit to this fabulous historic property felt like coming home. The 3 large bedrooms, 2 expansive living rooms, formal dining room, and entry hallway all promote inspiration from years gone by. The kitchen is cozy and updated, but with all the excellent Orvieto restaurants nearby, cooking is a last option; except perhaps for a coffee and prosecco!

The stairs were a challenge but manageable if one is physically fit. We had the help of the owner who was!
