Comfy and easy

Super easy to find and the host met us outside the apartment which immediately made us feel comfortable. It’s a quick walk from the funicular even for three older ladies. It was also super clean. One of the bathrooms was on the same level as the bedrooms. The host gave us great recommendations for restaurants and more.

Beds were a tiny bit hard but that is personal preference for sure.

Great location but find your own restaurants

Nice location near station. Very clean and comfortable.

Owner kept writing to me in English that was difficult to understand (I’m fluent in Italian). Restaurant recommendations were for tourists and we all live part of the year in Italy. Owner wasn’t aware funicular was under repair so that was a bit of a bummer as we had to take the bus

Orvieto was a lovely town to visit and relax and the apartment was well situated and enhanced our experience

location was great - close to train station, restaurants, etc. 2 bathrooms, spacious. host provided useful information on how to get to the apartment from the train station and recommendations for restaurants to eat, shops to buy groceries, etc.

property has 3 levels - ground floor was the living room, 1st floor was the kitchen and dining room, and bedrooms on the top floor. lots of stairs to climb. we ended up hanging out on the first floor and going in and out of the apartment from the external stairs of the first floor. also a kettle would have been useful for boiling water for tea. instead we we ended up using the pasta pot to boil water.

Nice stay in a great city.

The location was great; very close to the city centre, but still nice and quiet at night. The house was spacy. WiFi was perfect and the bedrooms had airconditioning which was great. Also nice to have two bathrooms. There was plenty of information provided about the city.

We would have liked some more comfortable chairs. We didn't use the room downstairs, because it didn't look very cosy and the couch was uncomfortable.

All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Orvieto and eventually got used to the apartment.

The location was very central. There were restaurants and shops within close walking distance. It was also very close to the funicular so if you don't have a lot of luggage, it is reachable on foot.

The apartment would've been good if we were a young family sharing it. I don't think it works well for a group of friends who are all elderly (we're in our 70's). There were too many long staircases to go up and down on. Linens and beddings were old and should really be changed. There were no extra pillows.There was a musty smell inside the cabinets in the kitchen and the table was not very clean. There was only one controller for the air conditioning units in 2 separate bedrooms so the temperature could not be controlled separately. There was no coffee machine available.

I could n’t check in this time because of the itinerary change, but before the trip, the owner provided a lot of great opinions. When I could n’t check in at last, the owner also expressed concern and hoped to have a chance to go again next time.

A wonderful place in a lovely town!

The apartment was in an ideal location to see the town of Orveito. Pasquele supplied us with all the information we needed to see the sites and restaurants in town, as well as things in the countryside. He was quick to respond to our text messages too. It was also great to have two full bathrooms! We had a wonderful stay and will certainly recommend it to all our family and friends. What a wonderful place so close to Rome!
