Overbooking has spoiled our vacation.

We liked the location of the apartment.

We did not like the fact that booking informed us last minute that the apartment we had selected 2 months ago and paid was not available due to overbooking. So we had to select a new apartment just hours before we arrive to Strasbourg at a higher price and compromising on the number of beds due to the limited time we had for selection. So we could not appreciate the apartment as we should, although objectively it was very good.

A horrible, dirty, run-down and disgusting apartment, with a scammer host to match.

We strongly advise against staying in these apartments. We booked them three days before our arrival, and when we got there in the evening (having informed the owner about our late check-in in advance), we found the apartment in a terrible state. It hadn’t been cleaned after the previous guests: the bed linen was dirty, there were crumpled used towels in the bathroom, broken furniture and door handles, and the whole place smelled bad. We were very tired after a long journey and would have gladly changed the linens and towels ourselves if there had been any spares, but there were none in the apartment. We immediately tried to call the owner, but he neither answered the phone nor replied to our messages. We then contacted Booking.com, and their manager Melanie quickly helped us by reaching out to the owner. He immediately responded to her but claimed that because we had booked at the last minute, it was impossible to arrange cleaning. However, Melanie could see the actual booking dates and as I understand that the owner had simply not planned to prepare the apartment. Since we had warned him about our late arrival, he must have understood that exhausted travelers would be arriving, likely unable to find alternative accommodation at such an hour. Melanie assured us that we would receive a refund, and we are very grateful to Booking.com’s support team for resolving the situation so quickly. We booked a hotel room in the city center and finally spent the night in a clean and comfortable place. Still, this evening was extremely stressful for our family, and the apartment owner’s behavior was simply unacceptable.

Super central location right by the cathedral!

The location is great, really right next to the cathedral. There's lots of space. The internet and TV worked well. The shower was powerful enough and the water temperature remained steady. I only stayed one evening but it was cosy and comfortable.

The apartment was still going through a phase of renovation when I stayed but the photos are accurate, and I still had a comfortable stay. The kitchen is quite well equipped but I couldn't find any cups for making tea or coffee. There's no oven at the moment but perhaps this will also be installed eventually. I think the central heating was one of the aspects undergoing renovation but the mobile radiators provided worked absolutely fine. A note with instructions on how to connect to the WiFi would be a useful addition.

Memorável para conhecer os mercados de Natal em família.

Localização central, bons acessos.

Deixei as chaves à saída em cima da mesa em casa e recebi chamada do proprietário a dizer que devia ter deixado novamente no cofre das chaves exterior e que tinha enviado essa informação (que realmente estava numa linha de texto entre imensas nas condições e que não reparei na altura). O proprietário disse que teria de 'resolver' esse problema das chaves e não foi uma conversa simpática.

Falta de toallas y papel del baño, lo comunicamos y no contestaron ni pusieron solución. Si llegase a ser algo más grave nos habríamos quedado sin solución igual. Una pena

Comodo perché ha una posizione ottimale ma la struttura è da ristrutturare.

Struttura molto ampia e spaziosa. Posizione perfetta, nel centro di Strasburgo. L’host è stato molto disponibile.

Il bagno è da ristrutturare. La vasca era intasata. Non è presente una caldaia ma un bollitore quindi l’acqua calda a un certo punto finisce. Nella stanza del gabinetto non funziona la luce e non c’è niente per appoggiare il rotolo di carta igienica. Il rubinetto perdeva acqua e si è allagato il pavimento. Non è presente il riscaldamento ma ci sono tre stufette elettriche e quindi se accendi anche il piano cottura salta la corrente. Indicazioni Wi-Fi non presenti. Il microonde va spostato per essere utilizzato perché la presa è troppo corta per arrivare alla spina.

El equipamiento de la cocina es muy escaso y no está muy limpio. No hay lavavajillas. Hay poco papel higiénico y no hay secador. No había sal ni lo mínimo para empezar un día.

Très Bon Séjour au Centre de Strasbourg

Tout s'est très bien passé lors de notre séjour d'une nuit. C'était au cours de la fête de la musique donc la rue était bruyante. Toutefois l’appartement est très bien situé (au centre ville) et proche de tout! Tout était conforme à la description.

Agradable estancia.

Solo estuvimos una noche, por lo que no pudimos disfrutar mucho del apartamento. Pero si puedo decir que era bastante grande y cómodo, pero lo mejor de todo es sin duda la ubicación: en la Catedral. Nos gustaría volver puesto que nos pareció bastante ideal para unos días, ya que, era muy completo. Además, la persona con la que me comunicaba muy agradable y me resolvió todas las dudas.
