Christmas in Strasbourg.

Great apartment for 2 people in Strasbourg. It is located in a great part of the city. Easy to get around via walking or the trams. Sarah was a wonderful host and made our stay very special. All the amenities provided for our week long stay exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend staying at Residence Le Mesange if visiting Strasbourg.

Really central and well located. Exactly as pictured, all the small details like sponge, washing up, wine glasses and flutes, coffee pods provided. Host was lovely and accommodating and they extended our checkout time and kept our luggage secure until we needed to leave

Perfect place!

The apartment is simply amazing! Location is perfect: just a few steps from the old town and to the Christmas markets. Lots of restaurants nearby. It's very comfortable, with plenty of space and, because of silence, provides us nice nights. The hostess was kind with us, allowing an early checkin. 😄 We would definitely recommend Résidence Le Mésange!

A perfect property for a stay in Strasbourg for two people.

The location was central and close to everything that we needed and wanted to visit. The property was peaceful compared to how close we were to everything. We were never disturbed by noise at night and the beds and linens were so comfortable. The staff were excellent and responded quickly to any questions we had. They accommodated our arrivals and departures smoothly and efficiently.

Great location, close to all attractions, restaurants and cafes. Very clean and spacious apartment. Had everything we needed.

Our unit was close to the road and was a little bit noisy. Only minor, but may be an issue for anyone sensitive to noise.

This was a spacious apartment and wonderful location for visiting Strasbourg.

The location was perfect for what we wanted to do in Strasbourg. Tram and cathedral were just a few minutes walk. A grocery store was just next door. And we enjoyed having our breakfast in the apartment.

Nice clean, modern apartment in the perfect location

We very much enjoyed the apartment. The location is perfect...on the edge of the old city and within a 15 minute walk to so much beauty and history. We used the apartment as a base for day trips to Colmar and other nearby cities wort visiting (it was a close walk to the tram line taking you directly to the central train station within minutes). The apartment itself was modern, bright, clean and very comfortable. We would absolutely stay in this apartment or one of the others in the building when we get the opportunity to visit Strasbourg again!

Excellent location in a modern apartment in Strasbourg with some areas to improve

No safe box. People in a fast food shop located in the same building as the apartment have access to the halls in the building. We came across people from the shop (not employees) in the hall. There is a never stopping noisy extractor in the kitchen that cannot be turned off. The water heater runs out of hot water if two persons take two showers in a row. Additional blankets would be helpful. Beds are average.

A nice studio handy for sightseeing.

The location was perfect for exploring Strasbourg on foot and by tram. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. The shower was excellent and good toiletries were supplied.

I’m being picky here, but it was a bit tricky to move around the studio because of the beams and sloping walls. We felt that a minor readjustment of the bed and the kitchen sink would have made a big difference. For example, turning the bed to face the windows would have given more space for another bedside table but perhaps that would not solve the problem of having to stoop to get past the bed. Also by moving the kitchen sink a little along the worktop it would have been easier to use. Little details and didn’t spoil our stay.

This was a perfect place to stay! Facilities, location, hostcontact, everything! And we are not easy to please! We had a wonderful Tarte Flambee in a bistro just across the street. Heavy rain, but it did not matter because we were so close to everything. They even had a supermarket in the same building.

Perfect accommodation for a trip to Strasbourg

The location was perfect, few minutes by walk to the main train station and to the old town. The property is very beautiful, modern and cozy. At our arrival everything was in order and clean, perfectly prepared for a couple weekend.

A very comfortable stay in a wonderful location - recommended!

The apartment is in a great location and was a comfortable size for two people. We really appreciated having the washing machine and the shower was also really roomy. There is a lift for that heavy luggage. There are lovely bakeries very close by and transport (tram) is essentially at your front door. The apartment was very clean and well presented; light and bright.

There were no condiments (salt, pepper etc.) in the kitchen and so it is important to realise you will have to bring/buy everything you need to do any cooking (there is equipment, however). There was an odd noise coming from near/behind the bathroom which may be associated with the restaurant next door/downstairs (like a food lift or something). It really bothered me on the first night but I eventually got used to it (with ear plugs).

We arrived a few hours earlier than the usual check-in time, but the flat was already ready. The reception staff were extremely friendly when I've called, opened the door for us and clearly explained everything about the key lock - how to use it and how to return a key when departure.

It was a bit noisy outside in the evenings, but with the bedroom windows closed, it was perfectly quiet. There is a kitchenette in the apartment, but no basic cooking supplies like salt or oil. However, Monoprix is right next door, so this was not a problem. Otherwise, the apartment was well equipped.

Absolutely loved this studio apartment. It was so newly decorated, exceptionally clean, well equipped. I would definitely stay again. It was perfect.

The shower leaked profusely all over the bathroom floor. We had to use all the towels each morning to soak up the water. The floor remained wet and was dangerous.

An excellent place to stay

The cleaner deserves a medal- the appartment was spotless. The furniture and equipment is top class, and the flat feels really spacious. It was great to have a washing machine as well. We were able to walk easily from the station and all over the beautiful city of Strasbourg. There is a Monoprix just around the corner as well.

Excellent location, very comfortable apartment!

- We loved how luminous, spacious, comfortable and clean the apartment was. The location was excellent. It’s in the center of the action without much of the noise from outside (the only thing we could hear was the gentle sound of the tram passing by). There are no loud bars or restaurants around but you’re close to them if you want to go to them. - We appreciated the excellent washer and dryer. It actually dried our clothes very well also (not always the case on those in Europe) and we were able to catch up on washing our dirty laundry. - The living room has a nice, large TV with Netflix!

The cons are very minor: - Even if there was a washer/dryer, we would have appreciated to have an extra set of towels anyway, especially since we stayed there a while. - There weren’t the basics to be able to cook. No salt, no pepper, no parchment paper and no olive oil. - The button on the washing machine to start a load of laundry was detached and pushed inwards, so it was not as easy to start it as it should be. We had to fiddle with it and it worked but, everytime we pressed it, we hoped it wouldn’t break.

A spacious and comfortable apartment for the price of a hotel room.

The apartment is in like-new condition. Having a separate bedroom and a kitchenette was very convenient compared to an ordinary hotel room. The bathroom area with a separate toilette room was clean and spacious. It is located in the heart of the tourist district, but faces away from the noise and crowds. It was located for convenient access to public transportation. Sarah, of Bluebird Hospitality, was very helpful and gracious in responding to our questions. The mattresses were a bit too firm for our preference.

Position fabulous for city and walking about . Easy to get to from the train

We did have an issue with the kettle blowing the lights out the night we got there - no answer from the 24 hr help line and an email the day after to say it had been passed on to someone . Thankfully we found the fuse box and sorted the lights . But avoided using the plug socket on the kitchen bench all week .. it would have been nice if someone had been in touch to check we were ok !

Studio Toucan is a meticulous apartment that is central to everything

We were lucky enough to get the beautiful Studio Toucan apartment in the middle of Strasbourg. Only a couple of minutes from the train station by tram and within walking distance of all the main attractions. The apartment was a little hard to find to start with but once I read the instructions provided it was very easy to locate. The instructions provided were very clear and included pictures which made things even easier. The apartment is meticulous and smelled fresh as soon as you walk in the door. It included everything we needed from kitchenware to washer and cleaning equipment. The location is perfect within close proximity to all the main attraction, restaurants and coffee shops. With glimpses of the Notre Dam from the windows we could not have asked for a better apartment
