Cozy apartment in the heart of Strasbourg

Smart, modern, cozy apartment right in the heart of Strasbourg. Perfect location for experiencing the city (cathedral & old quarter with its traditional restaurants and shops etc.). Some of the comments here touch upon the environmental noise: these are subjective (the latest bell ringing was at 2200h, and the earliest at 0700) and odd (choosing to stay right next to a world famous cathedral, then complain about the crowds in the street outside...). Easy to reach by car; public underground parking close-by. I'd return and will recommend it to friends.

What a gem by the Strasbourg Cathedral!

You cannot beat the location! Front and center to the hustle and bustle of the Strasbourg cathedral. You could bear the bells all day long. One of the markets was right outside the door. The room had so much charm. You walked up some gnarly circular stairs, so be sure to pack light. You feel like you stepped back in time going up those stairs and seeing the front door. But it’s so worth it when you see the view. The place included a separate bedroom and 2 full pullout couches. Plenty of room for the 4 of us adults. We would definitely stay here again! The host was so helpful along every step of the reservation. Detailed instructions and always available to answer questions.

The bathroom was a bit odd being separated, but added to the quirkiness of the place.

Great location with just what you need—Worth the climb :)

Great location. Perfect for enjoying Christmas markets. Parking garage not too far away (22€/day). Note we couldn’t bring the car to the location during the Christmas market hours. But when we left early in the morning (7:30am) it was not a problem to park at the location to load our bags into the car. Lots of stairs to get to the apartment, as noted in the listing. 3rd floor. Nicely decorated. Responsive owner. Great directions for finding the keys:)

Short and good location but way too dangerous of stairs

The apartment was clean, comfortable and spacious

The stairs to get to the apartment and it being on the 3 level up should be indicated up front, my husband is an amputee and he can walk stairs but these stairs are extremely dangerous, small, no railing on the outside of the stairs and could fall very easily!! This apartment is NOT for elderly, lots of luggage, anyone with any type of handicap nor NO small children!! It was a huge task to get our luggage up and back down the stairs

Great location great apartment

The apartment is lovely, spacious and very clean. It was easy to find with directions supplied by the host. Both bed and sleeper couch was very comfortable and the bedding good quality. The kitchen is well equipped. The location is great so close to the cathedral and when the windows and shutters are closed the distant happy chatter becomes soft noise. There is free parking 1.9km away. There is a parking garage close-by to drop off and pick up luggage. The 55 stairs to the 3rd floor was a good workout. 😀

The shower is in the bath. There is a fan in the main area but nothing in the bedroom and you must close the windows because of the noise outside into the night and early morning. The wifi is very slow. We had one set of keys and when I ran in the morning I had to unlock the gate downstairs to get out leaving the others upstairs without a way to get out should they want to go for a walk before I return. A bigger bedside table in the bedroom would be great for personal items as there was nowhere else to put them. Having said this the positives of this apartment far outweigh the negative. We loved our stay.

Perfect location. Spacious apartment. All facilities needed. Very modern bathroom and kitchen. I liked the presence of some coffee cups for in the machine - nice gesture and very handy. Easy communication with owner. Would like to return here.

to reach the apartment at the 3rd floor you have to climb a spiral staircase very very steep and narrow, so definitively not recommended if you are with baggages or with a baby.

Very pleasant and would definitely stay again when I come in.

The location was right in the center island which gives easy access to pretty much any event venue. Very clean and well furnished. Historical building but modernized on the inside.

Not criticism: as it's a historical building which automatically means air conditioning is not allowed to be installed, there is a fanning unit inside however which does the job decently well if pointed right. Be ready to climb some tight spiral stairs so if you have oversized luggage it may be difficult to get inside.

Heerlijk verblijf om te voet Strasbourg te ontdekken.

Wat een mooie locatie en het apartment was echt goed schoon. Wij waren hier met drie jonge kinderen en de smalle wenteltrap naar boven was een avontuur met alle tassen, maar draagt wel bij aan het speciale gevoel van een historisch gebouw. Bedden waren opgemaakt en handdoeken lagen klaar. Keuken is prima uitgerust.

Het enige nadeel; in de advertentie is er geadverteerd dat er een parkeerplek zou zijn. Dat is niet het geval. Je moet gebruikmaken van openbare parkeergarages, want parkeren op straat mag in Straatsburg maximaal 2 uur. Wij konden geen parkeergarages in met onze dakkoffer, dus moesten buiten de stad parkeren.

Zauberhaft – hübsche Wohnung direkt beim Strassburger Münster

Das Appartement befindet sich in im dritten Haus zum Strassburger Münster. Aus dem Fenster geniesst man den Blick auf die grandiose Westfassade des Münsters. Der Zugang zur Wohnung erfolgt über eine mittelalterliche Wendeltreppe (3. Geschoss). Die Wohnung ist liebevoll mit allem Nötigen eingerichtet. Ideale Lage, wenn man das Münster vor 8 h ohne den Touristenrummel erleben will.

Persönlich habe ich nichts zu meckern. Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass die Wendeltreppe etwas eng ist.

l'emplacement exceptionnel, l'appartement était spacieux propre et agréable. Le lit était fait. L'hôte est disponible et agréable.

un véritable coin salle à manger à la place du deuxième clic clac permettrait de réchauffer l'atmosphère de l'appartement et serait plus pratique. Quelques meubles et lampes supplémentaires seraient aussi chouettes.

Die Lage ist toll. Die Ausstattung ist gut. Wir konnten die Fahrräder gut im Hinterhof abstellen.

Am Bett fehlen Leselichter. Bei einer Lampe war keine Glühbirne drin. Der dritte Stock war sportlich, aber das wussten wir vorher, deshalb war es ok.
