A perfect stay

We had a wonderful stay at Parenthèse Alsacienne in Strasbourg. Everything was perfect overall. The apartment was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, and the amenities were more than excellent. The owner was extremely responsive, which made our stay even more pleasant.

The only small downside was that the internet was not working during our stay. Aside from that, we highly recommend this place and would gladly come back.

I would not stay at this property again because it’s overpriced and underdelivers.

The property itself is a nice property in a charming neighborhood.

First of all there is no parking. The small parking area across the street is always full. It’s not only that there is no parking but a car cannot stop in front of the house to load and unload the luggage. Plus… there was no instruction how to get to Strasbourg via public transportation. I had no idea which bus/tramway to take, what the name is of the nearest stop and how to get there. Plus… when I arrived I had a code to the key box but it was impossible to figure out in the dark how to open the key box. Plus… after long discussion on the phone how to open the key box and access the key… when I finally got in the apartment it was FREEZING COLD. I could not take a shower, slept with my sweater on and with warm socks. Even then my nose was freezing. Plus… when I arrived the TV was disconnected… not only from the wall but from the TV. I was expected to service the TV by myself. A day later a woman came to work on the TV and she had a hard time figuring out how to reconnect the cable. And then she had a hard time reinstalling the channels. The TV worked for one night but didn’t work the following day. The woman finally turned the heat on in the apartment. Plus… there was no free Wi-Fi. I paid almost a $ 1,000 for 3 night for this property… I can stay in a nice hotel for half of the price, breakfast included, the room is warm when I arrive and the TV always works. Not counting that a hotel gives me access to free Wi-Fi and I don’t have to do my own dishes.

Nice stay just outside of Strasbourg.

I liked the functionalities of the house, all I needed was there and a bakery close by.

Muy nuevo, cuidado al detalle, limpio y acogedor. Muy bien comunicado con el centro de la ciudad mediante transporte público, bien sea tranvía o autobús. Zona residencial pero un gran número de negocios de hostelería.

Nous avons passer un très bon moment.

Petit déjeuner très varier, il y avait du choix. Logement très propre et chaleureux. tramway à 650m du logement qui nous permet d'aller au centre ville de Strasbourg en quelques minutes. lit confortable. Cuisine très bien équipé. Salle de bain nickel. Petit livret d’accueil avec toutes les informations, exemple restauration avec des adresses, lieux à visiter et autres informations très utiles.

le point négatif la route qui a coté du logement bruyant le soir et le matin pendant les heures de pointes dans la semaine.
