Appart Wimpheling - Hyper centre - Strasbnb

As far as I was concerned, going to Strasbourg for business, the location was ideal, a mere 15 mins by foot from where I was working from. Also, the fact there’s a Carrefour City nearby is perfect for small grocery shopping. The apartment itself was spacious enough, quiet even if it was on the ground floor. The mattress was supremely comfortable and the bedding options (heavier blankets, additional pillows…) were perfect. The water pressure never went low despite other people in the building using it at the same time, nor did it lack warmth. And some things in the bathroom, such as the de-mister on the mirrors, were downright luxurious. All in all one of the best places I’ve stayed in Strasbourg for the past 16 years.

Just a few things prevent me from giving this place a 10/10 rating: - there were no breakfast bowls available, which was a bit sad when you want to eat cereals in the morning; - the slope in the walk-in shower could be a bit more pronounced towards the evacuation. You -will- need the provided squeegee if you don’t want the water to go all the way to the bathroom entrance door.

The place is renovated and it is tastefully decorated. A very nice, comfortable bathroom.

The apartment was converted from a former commercial space; it is located on the ground floor and features large display windows that extend almost to sidewalk level. These windows are not covered with opaque film. There are blinds, but if you want to limit visibility into the interior during the day, using the blinds results in complete blackout. Ordinary self-adhesive window films would do the job much better and allow you to feel more at ease. That is the thing that definitely was missing. But the rest was very fine and comfortable.
