A place to stay for stopover in Strasbourg

Studio not as big as impressions on photos, but a bit of jiggling with furniture made it easier to move about. Strasbourg centre a short walk across the river. Handy for buses or boats. Ideal for stopover. Car parking a short walk away.

Shame about the river view, as bus stop outside the window, and a big wooden hoarding across the road.

An expensive disappointment

They say it’s a great location by the water. They say it’s a studio. First of all the location: yes, close to the city centre, but it’s behind a bus station and far enough from the water, so instead of the experience they sell, you get people being able to look in your room while waiting for the bus. The room is smaller than a usual hotel room, the beds are not straight, the furniture is cheap and the bathroom was mouldy. Big disappointment at high cost.

Convenient stay in the heart of Strasbourg

Great location

Not very clean and part of the shower was broken. We called the host to inform them and they said a technician would come to look at it later that day, but they didn’t come. It was still possible to shower but it was quite a shock when the shower fell on my husband.

There steps to get to the room. Smell like dust , windows open to bus station , heavily over rated. Would not go back. It should be on air and b site. Fund nasty bug in our room, mentioned to own , she did not even responded to our comment.

Beautiful apartment surrounded with many beautiful attractions

Comfortable room with small fully equipped kitchen near town and attractions. Staffs are great and Strassbourg is very beautiful town. I wish I would come back again 😊

Disappointing versus pictures and description, maybe other rooms are better, but great location.

Excellent location, with bakery and supermarket nearby, short walk to cathedral. Air con worked well, as did sound proofing from street and blackout blinds. Staff communicated well on messages, and was able to check in early.

Very misleading photos for double room, river view on ground floor. It has been painted a darker colour that makes it feel dark and cramped. View is of a bus stop, with very thin curtains so hard to feel private without blinds down. Third bed meant room cramped and no seating except 2 uncomfortable kitchen chairs. Shower had leaked and obviously has for a long time as was mouldy around the plinth. All fittings and Kitchen units cheap and badly designed and fitted. Pendant light in ‘kitchen’ area detached from ceiling and not working. Shame as it could be much nicer with some easy fixes.

Great stay in Strasbourg

Excellent location. The apartment was right adjacent to the river in the centre of the Old Town in Strasbourg. Easy to walk to many of the local attractions. Communication with host Virginie was easy from the start and replies came quickly. The apartment was well appointed and spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for somewhere to stay that is within walking distance of the Old Town attractions.

+ Perfect location. Few steps from the center, at the quai, but very quiet. Small but excellent bakery next door. Supermarket 200m away. + Very clean room with air condition and kitchenette. + Friendliest staff ever. Proactively sending suggestions for parking, restaurants, sightseeing, luggage deposit after check-out etc. Always reachable, proficient in English language. + No key needed for the apartment (number code instead), which facilitates check-in and check-out.

- While the bed appeared new and ok, it was too soft for me. But that's an individual preference.

Nice complete studio in a good location with parking very near by.

Nice small studio apartment with everything you would need for a few days stay. Nice decor, very comfortable, good location. Virginie gave good instructions for parking which is one block away. Apartment is on a main street but noise is not a problem. Will return when in Strasbourg.

We do not have internet when we travel so getting a code online the day of travel is always a problem. We called the number given when we arrived but the man that answered did not want to give us the code. Even when we told him we did not have internet he still wanted to send us the code through Booking.com, we were at the apartment. Why won't apartments give the codes online the day before we are travelling?

Charming place in a charming city

Our apartment was facing the backyard area so it was very quiet, allowing us to have a very good sleep. The property is very close -by foot - to all the downtown attractions. Bonus: Coffee Stub, a lovely cafe near the property has the best coffee I tried in Strasbourg.

the bed was comfortable

sense of insecurity. doors are not so secure and the two windows have a view of the internal parking with a huge garbage bin outside the window. they knew I would be arriving late and siding even have a small bottle of water in the fridge.

The apartment has a great location for exploring the city by foot,. It is clean, nicely decorated, well equipped and quiet (we had the one to the inner court).
