Great hotel in a wonderful location

Lovely hotel in a great location. Very clean and handy to have the bikes. Marina? One of the owners was excellent and very helpful with all we needed. The staff at breakfast were also great.

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like. It’s a great hotel and I would definitely stay again. The younger front desk staff could have been a bit more welcoming- wasn’t a big issue but just some feedback.

Rare find

Brilliant stay, brilliant location.

The location from the train station, to the shops and the beach were all perfect. We received a warm welcome along with fairy useful information for a few days is there. There was free bike hire which we didn’t use. The room was very spacious, clean, modern, comfortable and airy. The air conditioning was brilliant too. The roof top was a bonus with fabulous views and sunsets.

Breakfast was excellent! The hotel was in a great location close to the beach and restaurants. Staff was helpful and you can use their bikes for free

We loved Levanto and the apartment at Hotel Nazionale and will definitely come back one day.

My group stayed at the apartment and we LOVED it. It’s in a separate building than the traditional hotel, but the building was a block closer to the beach. The apartment had 3 bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, 1 bathroom, and 3 decks off of the front rooms. We loved it!!

The air conditioning didn’t work the best so we were hot but other than that it was perfect!

Great location to visit Cinque Terre

The breakfast is outstanding, lots of choice in a very sunny room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable with a nice shower.

The parking offered was a bit hard to go in and out, but we managed. The room was noisy with the window open as the hotel is in the downtown core.

A dream in Liguria, tops most of italian hotels we visited in other summers.

Very central, rooms were quiet, clean, and staff was very friendly, parking was safe and flexible, considering the cluttered nature of the city. Excellent breakfast.

A second hotel entrance with shower or a tap for coming from the beach with sandy feet would be great, although not easy to implement. In August, the lidos were sold out, and in 2 days we needed to go to the public beach.

Great location, very close to the sea and to nearby cafes and restaurants. The hotel far exceeded our expectations; the hotel was renovated a few months ago, but there are no recent photos on booking.com yet. Reception, dining rooms, garden, rooms decorated with taste and climate. I highly recommend! Very nice and helpful staff.

The location to the town and the beach is fantastic. Staff are helpful and very welcoming. Hotel is cosy and clean. Lovely outdoor garden for breakfast. I would highly recommend a stay here.

So glad we chose laid-back Levanto and the Hotel Nazional.

A buffet breakfast with coffee made to order although I found the coffee from the urn was very drinkable! All the usual offerings plus an array of pastries and home-made cake. Well-located hotel between beach and railway station. Warm welcome on arrival and all staff helpful and friendly throughout. Our toon, a junior suite was more than big enough for a couple.

It could be noisy some evenings directly outside, not traffic just lively conversation, outside diners etc. Might disturb some but not us !

This town grows on you, the longer you stay and explore the more you discover.

This hotel is located on a busy one way street in a central location. The staff was welcoming on our arrival and directed us to a secure lot to leave our rental car for an extra daily charge. Breakfast was a strong point, buffet with assorted fresh local pastries, scrambled eggs, ham and a bowl of fresh fruit provided daily. Great town for walking to the waterfront or a variety of restaurants. Be prepared for walking as the train station is a hike from the hotel but provides regular access to all the villages of the Cinque Terre.

Mattress on bed was noticeably firm, elevator was broken to the second floor, which meant you take the elevator to the third and walk town.

Wonderful stay here!

I liked everything basically. Hotel is quite cheap for the quality it proposes. Personal is very welcoming and willing to help. Rooms are huge, beds are very comfortable, there's plenty of choice for breakfast, real hair-dryers in the bathroom... Hotel is located in the lovely village of Levanto, close to the beach, shop and restaurants. Very easy to join the Cinque Terre from here as the train station is 5 minutes away by feet from the hotel

Great location - wonderful stay

Great location for exploring Cinque Terre. Very walkable to the train station and also a great, vibrant town for the evenings. Car parking was perfect for us. Breakfast was great and if we needed any help with anything the team where only too happy to assist. We had a fabulous room with everything that you need and lots of space. Personally I would recommend staying here rather than the smaller towns in the Cinque Terre.

We did have a little noise from one of the bars opposite on our first night. The room was very well soundproofed, but some people are just very loud. Apart from that perfect.
