The interior decor all looked brand new, almost like it had been refurbished yesterday. The entire house was extremely clean on the inside too, and the beds were very comfortable. The shower and bath were good, and the kitchen was a good size.

I experienced problems with the refundable deposit. Despite paying £100, I only received £95 back at first and had to contact the host several times to get the rest. This should not happen — returning a deposit should be simple and honest.
The accommodation was fine, but the deposit process left a bad impression and caused unnecessary hassle.

The location was excellent, plenty of shop around you , a big Tesco 2 minutes walk away and local shops on your door step , plenty of fast food takeaway shop , Chinese, chip shop , kebab shops , mcdonalds . Bus stop not far away , but a lovely walk into town also if the weather is nice.
The house was very modern and clean , as stated by another review their was some visable dust but not excessive , I only really noticed it as I had a look on the back of that review , but as stated not a big problem. The beds where comfy, the couch in the living room seriously needs renewed , not comfy atol you can feel the springs when you sit onit , also the tv could be doing with an aerial so you can just switch it on and watch free view, but again not a big issue it was a smart tv so could use YouTube, bbc iplayer etc . My honest review. Would I go back to this property , yes you won't be disappointed.

The bed was comfortable. The property was convenient for us because it was close to family. Tesco is just down the road. The road the house is on is quiet. The check in process was straight forward. It's just a key safe on the wall.
The owners had good communication with messages explaining about the checkin and a few house rules.
We have spoken to the property since writing this review and we have been assured that the concerns we raise below have now been addressed. They apologised for our experience. But we still have to post our honest experience here.
First impressions were poor: the house was not clean. The fridge still had leftovers from previous guests, and the shelves hadn’t been cleaned in some time. There was rubbish left in the kitchen bin, and the whole place felt dusty and poorly maintained. The furniture is old and not very functional — the sofa, in particular, was extremely uncomfortable. Overall, the property’s appearance was far from inviting. I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews; it feels like I stayed in a completely different house than everyone else.
The cupboard under the stairs, where the boiler is kept, was stuffed with black bags of who-knows-what. The kitchen cupboards were full of half-used food items, and the bathroom cabinet still contained razors, deodorants, and other personal products. There were even half-used shower gels left in the bathroom. It felt less like a holiday rental and more like we had just walked into someone’s home while they were away.
There’s an iron but no ironing board. The heating situation was also frustrating. With outside temperatures around 4°C, we set the heating to 23°C at night to try to stay warm. Yet when we returned after being out for the day, the heating had been switched off remotely (I assume by the owners via WiFi control). This meant we came back to a freezing cold house and had to go straight to bed with the heating back on and an electric heater running just to warm up.
The property is advertised as a “whole 2-bedroom house,” but the second bedroom was locked, so that’s misleading. As it happens we are a couple that share a bed, but at times we sleep separately due to snoring. But that was not an option with it being locked.
