Terrible host who insulted me and lied about me
Reasonably comfy room, clean smart bathroom
It was not tranquil, it was noisy, and I had to get up at 5 am just to watch some football because the host would have spoiled it the night before
Worse than that, the host started lecturing me for phoning her to ask what bus to catch tt get there. She said I should have asked the driver, who was very busy with a lot of customers at rush hour.
I said that on past experience many drivers don't speak English, (or know the names of all their stops, or can always be bothered to answer)
She totally overreacted to this innocent statement of fact and then verballed me later by saying I had made other derogatory comments which I did not and I can prove it
She is a liar, and a paranoid, contrary and hateful person and if you want a nice happy life you would not stay with this malicious and racist person. She advertises that you cannot cook pork on the property etc and the only racist is her. In reality she only wants Muslim guests and then stands there making out her guests are the problem
It comes to something when you can't even make an innocent comment without being persecuted for it.
And she had just lectured me for 10 minutes like I was a school child, just because I hadn't pulled back the shower curtain. And tried to make out that means I have a mental health problem

And all I did was listen politely and tolerate her, and then got slandered anyway
And asked to leave when I had just booked a second night and she said that was fine but then talked herself out of it
She has made me more of a physical wreck now with my vertigo and my aches and pains all increased by the abuse and lies she subjected me to. She is a bully and a hate criminal. And when I called the police because she is the one who seemed mad to me and I was concerned for her, she told lies to them and made out I had said worse things. Even they weren't stupid enough to believe her.

Bad host spoiled my weekend
The room was comfy enough, the bathroom nice, it was very clean.
The advert said that tv and Kettle were included but only in the lounge and kitchen which I didn't feel encouraged to use in the private home
And when I asked about a cup of tea, the host brought me one up, ok, but there was no suggestion of using the kitchen or lounge
At least that's the impression given
The really bad thing though was that the lady who runs the place has a serious attitude problem
She made noise, especially vacuuming, from 5 to 7pm, so I had to get up at 5am to watch some football in peace in the end
Later she lectured me about the shower curtain and because I forgot one little thing, she asked if I had a mental health problem and then criticised me for phoning her when I was getting on the bus on the way there to check it was the best one to catch. She said "this is an example of a mental health problem". And when she had finished insulting me she then decided to refuse my booking for the second night which she had accepted 10 mins earlier and suddenly started threatening me with the police if I didn't leave immediately and she was harassing me while I was trying to phone booking support and pack my bags at the same time.
This attitude was totally uncalled for and you could see the signs when you first arrived as she seemed paranoid and authoritarian
And then got worse.
Its best not to book with female hosts when you are a male, too many nutty ones about im afraid
Although i doubt any woman would accept her attitude either
Its all very well having a few rules, she sets on you if you make a slight mistake and wages a hate crime against you. Whether you are mad or not, and I like to think I'm not, she has no right to come out with such prejudice against anybody who just innocently rented a room to try to have a pleasant evening or two

Lovely home from home
I was working at Queen Elizabeth Hospital so this was in a fantastic location, only about 15minutes away. I was greeted and taken up to the room and shown how to use the shower.
Just to point out this is a bedroom in someone's home, where you share a bathroom its not an en suite. I parked down a cul de sac only 2 doors away.
Lovely staff, I'll be recommending to colleagues who need to travel for work
I did try calling the phone number listed but it was going straight onto voicemail I was just trying to find out where to park etc but i did figure it all out. I think they are very responsive through booking.com.

You get a very small room tidy clean warm room to sleep in and a warm shower or bath with a very friendly lady who’s hom
The price and value for money and friendliness of the owner
It wasn’t obvious to find, and you have to take on board I was staying over with a very eye catching sign written van that may attract the wrong person to it, that there isn’t a private driveway or parking, as I had to park just directly off a main road, but if you had a standard car that didn’t stand out, this wouldn’t effect you, but I felt a bit apprehensive leaving my van overnight.
