"I enjoyed my time at Hams' Rest Place. The family who run the location are incredibly lovely, kind and even when I made a grievous booking error, they were more than accommodating. I will happily stay..."

Fantastic value and superb host family. They even picked me and my heavy suitcase up from the station and gave me a lift to my job the following day for a very reasonable amount. The room was secure and very clean and comfortable and there was plenty of room in the shared fridge for my breakfast overnight.
Having a shared bathroom was concerning - in case it wasn't available - but it was in the end, which was great.

cleanliness of the room and bath
The bath plug and shower was not working well on the day.

Very clean and tidy.
The window blinds are only thin and didn’t prevent any sun light from coming into the room. I was woken up at 05:30am by sunlight which considering I didn’t get into the room until 02:00am was not good.
