Devonshire House

I stayed at this property for one week. The room was exceptionally spacious with high ceilings and large windows that allowed plenty of natural light. It was spotless and well-maintained. The facility featured a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with modern appliances, sleek countertops, and ample storage, as well as an elegant dining area designed for comfort and style. The bathroom was outstanding, with a spacious walk-in shower, modern fixtures, and luxurious finishes. Overall, it felt like a welcoming and comfortable home.

Kitchen utensils could have been a bit cleaner but plates were fine and didn't bother me too much as just washed them before use

Some people living there are weird

The room was in the ground floor, big room and great windows. Easy access and just on front of the driveway. The location was excellent just few minutes from shops and city centre.

While the property had potential, there were several issues that impacted my stay. Upon arrival, the room had not been thoroughly cleaned; there were cobwebs near the bed, and the room had a stale, musty odor, suggesting it had been closed up for some time. A significant issue was the smoking policy. Other tenants frequently smoked and spoke loudly on the phone directly outside my window, with smoke drifting into my room. While I appreciated that the host sent a general reminder to tenants regarding designated smoking areas, the behavior unfortunately continued. Additionally, parking was consistently difficult due to a neighbor frequently blocking access to the driveway. With better management of property cleanliness and enforcement of house rules, this would be a much more pleasant stay.
