Nice place, but pre-plan what you are going to eat and drink.

Friendly host, nice location and cosy hut.

I didn’t see any information when booking which said anything about food not being available on certain days. We were invited to use the bar for a drink, but when we arrived, we were told it was now closed.

Lovely place - so cosy with stunning views!

I loved the pod itself & the great views from it. The hosts were very friendly & welcoming & helpful. Would definitely stay here again!

My only complaint, and this is nothing to do with the property itself, was that Booking.com charged me almost £20 more than if i had of booked it directly through the hosts, so make sure you check with the hosts first before you pay booking,com too much!

Lovely place for a short break

Very clean, friendly staff. Lovely view.

No teaspoons with the tea/coffee. Kettle did not fit under the tap. Although the bed was very comfortable not easily accessible for 2 people. No where to leave the key on checking out.

Did the job but wouldn’t book again

The pods were cute. Smaller than we expected. Nice view over the river

All a bit tired. The sofa bed wasn’t very clean. Stains on the fabric which put me off wanting to sleep on it. The door to the shower wet room wouldn’t close properly. Peeling paint. In need of some TLC.

Great Short Break

A really great place for our family to have a few days together. We stayed in the pods and they had everything we needed for a short break. Staff and local people were very friendly

Ok but as we were there for the gig which one of us missed it was a bit disappointing

Handy for the reason we were in Morecambe

It was a very hot day, so when we got to the pod it was very hot inside. We had a dog with us and had planned to leave him sleeping whilst we went to a gig but it was too hot to leave him inside so one of us missed the gig to stay with him. On request we were given a fan but it might help if the doors to the pods were left open before guests arrive to prevent the build up of heat on hot days.

Worth a visit.

The pod itself was cute and clean. The location was both peaceful and convenient.

There should be a fridge in the pod and a decent fan in summer months. Plus the tv doesnt work so if replace tv get one u can sign into netflix on.

Relaxed and happy

Very friendly people and just a nice relaxed vibe about the whole place which is why we went. Would definitely go back here, very dog friendly and quirky little pods. If you like bird watching and relaxing in close proximity to a river you’ll love it here

Lovely place!

It was amazingly clean. I was expecting more bugs but inside was pristine. Really very pleasantly surprised. The view was stunning and it was very quiet.

We could have used a clearer understanding of the check out procedure.

The pod was cosy whilst roomy. Grassed area was enclosed and safe for dogs or children. We had lovely view of the river. They was a good supply of coffee and clean towels etc.

Super cosy pod perfect for a short break.

Super lovely and comfortable pod overlooking the river! Warm welcome, cracking pub next door, but plenty of space so equally lovely and quiet too. Perfect stopover for Haysham ferry, but equally I'd see this as a nice base for Lancaster and Morecambe too!

Great Pod

The location- shame the weather was so bad as the location was great. The friendly staff - we were welcomed by a lovely, happy young man (Lucy's son) and Lucy brought our breakfast to the pod in the morning. Lucy was also very lovely. The pod itself was great -just what we needed- we will be back.

The fact that we were only there for one night. We had a decent night's sleep. The bathroom door was squeaky as it got stuck on the door frame - only a minor thing and that's the only fault.

Easy to find. Great views. Good food. Chef made veggie curry on request. Good atmosphere in the bar. Everyone was very friendly.

Very cute and wholesome. The pub/restaurant on site is perfect and nice and warm, with very nice food. The pod itself was clean and accessible. We were shown where everything was and informed if we needed anything just to simply ask.

Converted pod people!

Lovely pods situated on the river bank. Clean, and comfortable bed. Good facilities such as tea/coffee etc. Some confusion after arrival over dog-friendliness as booked as ‘accepts pets’ but a lovely lady in a neighbouring pod, also had a dog with her, had noticed on a sign inside the pods ‘pets are not allowed in the accommodation’. Did not use the pub itself, but there was live music. Kitchen closed due to bank holiday but serving pizzas.

The addition of a mini fridge for milk would be great but appreciate space is tight.
