Tiptoes Lodge

Easy to find, location is great to explore Morecambe, Carnforth and Arnside etc. Hot tub was nice and hot and it was covered which was nice as it rained heavily. The view over the lake was nice and peaceful, plenty of areas to walk the dog, free Wi-Fi. A few niggles mentioned below but all in all it was nice. There is a Tassimo machine, which was nice. Just a reminder that if you do use your personal details for Netflix etc on the smart TV then log out before you go home!! There is an HDMI lead connected which I used to connect my lap top to watch my stuff.

The size threw me a little but 4 of us and a dog managed, the lid on the hot tub is heavy! other places I've stayed with hot tubs have a frame attached to the lid to help to take it off. The curtains around the hot tub didn't fasten as the zip's were broke, maybe some different fasteners would help, but they did give you privacy and protection from the rain. The place would benefit from a deep clean, but it was acceptable except for the bin as it had not been cleaned and there was left over rotting food and cigarettes in the bottom.
