The pod was a good size for two and clean , set in a lovely location , had a fire pit and table and seating outside . Microwave and kettle and small fridge .

The mattress was very tired and soft , with a lump down the middle of it , very uncomfortable.The clubhouse is only open at weekends.We stayed in school holidays, so would have thought it would be open . Also the showers are too high so the water aims at the wall and you have to wait for it to run down the wall or stand on tip toes if possible, my four year old grandson had no chance .

A wonderful weekend away

We had such a great weekend. The staff were friendly, the pod was clean, had everything we needed. The park was beautiful, stunning lakes and lovely walks and the facilities were very clean. The pub on site was exceptionally welcoming of our dogs and we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness. we will go back without a doubt.

Toilets could have been cleaned after morning when peopled showered as dirty from footprints because of bad weather. Did provide mops but one of the mops was missing so didn’t help

Location for me was great, I didn't book breakfast.

I would have liked a lamp or light switch near the bed. It was bad weather during my stay, having got warm and cosy in bed it was a shame to have to get up to pull the light cord by the door

highly recommend for family’s. Perfect for my little trip

I think the pod is great. I had a twin bed pod. It had a radiator, lights, window, kettle and a shelving unit. Over looked the lake. Quiet park, clean. bar, Entertainment on, restaurant, shop, kids play area, walks around the lakes, pub up the road, close to local town, close to Motor way for access to larger towns. Beautiful area would highly recommend

You can’t have campfires. Which I totally understand why. But for me that would have topped off the weekend so I could sit outside even in the cooler weather. And I would have preferred if there was a washup point for my cooking pots and a shower facility closer to the pods.
