they are not busy, so i could stay alone in a dormitory room

wifi works only first floor, so at the room there are no wifi :( when i get there there were nobody, i waited for a while their credit payment system has broken, so i needed to pay with cash, i guess they has been in this problem, so i wish they had told me beforehand before my stay

Old school hostel

Big bathroom with many toilets and clean, free breakfast (very simple though). Beautiful location in nature looking at Assisi. Beautiful old authentic house. The vibe is like a kind of camping dorm

Cheap hostal but quality and service are very poor even for the price)

Bad reception service at check in. Confusion in booking and not being able to pay by credit/debit card (Booking.com did not inform about this). Room with heating but it did not work (I was cold the first night). Only two plug sockets which is insufficient for the people in the room. No individual lights in the cabins. During the night it is quite annoying to sleep because there is a green light above the door which is always on and very bright which is very uncomfortable. At the reception they only give one key for all the people who use the room, which is a mess in terms of coordination for its use. Breakfast was very poor. I even found some products that were out of date (I saw an open jam that had fungus on it).

A localização quando você coloca diretamente pelo Booking te dá outro endereço, de uma residência particular. Me perdi, estava sozinha, de noite, no escuro, em uma estrada sem luzes de poste sem saber pra onde ir. Demorei em torno de 40 minutos até conseguir me localizar e chegar no hostel. As paragens de autocarro são bem distantes. Vi que o funcionário sabe que esse endereço está errado e não vão fazer nada para mudar?

Zona tranquilla in campagna ad un km dal centro di Assisi. Pulito. Stanza piccola, con l'essenziale per breve soggiorno. Gentile il receptionist che ci ha permesso di posticipare il check out alle ore 12.

Colazione mini. Metterei qualche appendino nell'armadio e uno sgabello o sedia (stanza 101).

Buonissimo il pane fatto fresco dal signore del Bengladesh. Grazie mille. Accoglienza ottima e gentile. Sempre con un sorriso che fa piacere. Mi ha permesso senza problemi di posteggiare il furgone dove ho dormito con il cane mentre la mia consuocera ha dormito nella camera. Ha dormito bene.

Soluzione ottimale per un paio di notti a basso budget.

Letto in camera quadrupla, con armadietto privato nel piano ad uso esclusivamente femminile. Lenzuola e stanza pulite. Staff gentile e disponibile, posizione comoda perchè ha sia il posto auto che una strada pedonale diretta al centro storico. Natura tutta intorno alla struttura, quindi lontano dal caos.

Il piumino per il letto era troppo sottile, urge biancheria più calda per non passare la notte al freddo. Colazione molto spartana ma in linea col prezzo.

Discreta permanenza di 3 notti. Avrebbe potuto andare molto meglio.

Senza dubbio la distanza dal centro di Assisi è un punto a favore. Tutto sommato è una breve camminata dalla Basilica di San Francesco. Lo stabile all'esterno è molto bello, è un tipico casale umbro, andrebbe però curato un po' meglio l'interno. Parcheggio ampio all'esterno che può ospitare diverse auto. Bagni sufficientemente ampi, ma che andrebbero un po' "rinfrescati". Non sono in grado di valutare la colazione, perché non l'ho mai fatta in Ostello.

L'inserimento di letti extra nel weekend della festa di San Francesco direi che non era assolutamente opportuno (parlo delle camere maschili) Da 4 a 7 posti letto, risicando gli spazi, non hanno aiutato gli ospiti a sentirsi a loro agio. Il ragazzo dello staff, seppur molto educato e carino, era tendenzialmente SOLO a prendersi cura di TUTTO. Impossibile per chiunque poter dare poi dei servizi buoni. Mi dispiace. Il proprietario dovrebbe fare una valutazione su questo.

non mi e' piaciuta l'accoglienza, in quanto nonostante sia stata effettuata due giorni prima la prenotazione, non sapevano ancora dove piazzarmi al mio arrivo (e sono arrivata in serata!). Le camere risultavano gia' occupare, poi finalmente hanno trovato un letto per me.

Ostello della Pace... mancata

Molto utili e apprezzati i dispenser per bagnoschiuma e shampoo nell'area doccia. Ottima posizione per raggiungere il centro storico di Assisi in auto in poco tempo.

La pulizia è decisamente da migliorare: al nostro arrivo in stanza abbiamo trovato molti capelli sul pavimento e briciole nei cassetti. Nel periodo estivo sarebbe necessario mettere a disposizione un ventilatore: il caldo durante la notte è molto intenso. Sarebbero necessari appendini in bagno in prossimità di lavandino e bidet per poter appendere gli asciugamani, così come sarebbe utile un'abatjour di servizio sul comodino. Accanto all'ostello passa una strada molto battuta: nella stanza dove siamo stati - quella con due letti singoli e bagno privato - il rumore è davvero forte e fastidioso. Dovendo tenere le finestre aperte per via del caldo il riposo è stato compromesso. La spia verde della lampada di emergenza sopra la porta della stanza è troppo luminosa: anche chiudendo gli occhi si percepisce distintamente. Anche questo ha compromesso il riposo. Abbiamo avuto l'impressione che si andasse al risparmio sulle opzioni per la colazione: pur essendoci alternative, alcune sono state messe a disposizione solo il secondo giorno, quando gli ospiti nell'ostello sono aumentati. Le richieste che abbiamo fatto per iscritto alla struttura sono state ignorate, la comunicazione con il personale non è stata sempre efficace.

Ostello della Pace, di nome e di fatto

La posizione perfetta a neanche 10 minuti a piedi da Assisi. Il posto è meraviglioso, immerso nel verde, ti svegli con gli uccellini che cantano e dalla finestra della camera hai la vista sulla Basilica di San Francesco. Il proprietario molto alla mano, mi ha fatto fare il giro del giardino, mostrato l'orto, parlato dei progetti per il futuro della struttura. Esperienza decisamente positiva!

Riesiges Potenzial, aber leider schlechte Umsetzung.

Die Lage ist in Ordnung, man läuft ca. 20 Min zur Basilika San Francesco, ca. 25 Min zur Basilika Santa Chiara, entsprechend der Stadt allerdings teilweise recht steil bergauf. Das Personal ist freundlich und bemüht. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis v.a. nur zum Schlafen ist inkl. Rabatt gerade ausreichend, das Frühstück unterer Durchschnitt. Mit etwas Aufwand und Zuwendung könnte es ein wirklich schönes Hostel werden, so ist's leider nicht empfehlenswert.

Es gibt wirklich viele Hostels, wo die Voraussetzungen limitiert sind, die aber durch Liebe zum Detail und gut durchdachten Lösungen trotzdem sehr gut sind. Hier ist es leider genau andersrum: das Gebäude (vermutlich mal eine Schule o.ä.) und das Grundstück hätten riesiges Potenzial, aber leider wird das nicht genutzt. Mein Schlafraum war unterhalb von Jugendherbergs-Niveau aus den 80er: EINE Steckdose im 4er-Zimmer, ein Bett weniger hätte es auch getan, absolut gar keine Aufhängemöglichkeiten, ein Schrank mit Schloss aber ohne Schlüssel oder Regale (= keinerlei echte Unterbringung für Gepäck), karge Wände, keine eigene Lampe (bei Mehrbettzimmern einfach sehr wichtig), kein Nachttisch, WLAN/Wifi reicht nicht bis auf die Zimmer und der Austausch der Betten ist ca. drei Jahrzehnte überfällig. Dafür ein klappriger Schreibtisch, den kein Mensch braucht... Auch der Essensraum ist zwar groß, aber völlig ungemütlich. Die Terrasse - eigentlich optimal gelegen - ist zugewuchert und nicht zu nutzen, von fehlenden Außenmöbeln gar nicht zu sprechen. Somit gibt es keinen echten Aufenthaltsort, was ein Hostel ja irgendwie ausmacht. Die Sanitärräume sind für ein Hostel okay, haben ihre besten Tage aber ebenfalls hinter sich. Außerdem riecht es (dauerhaft) unangenehm bzw muffig.

La struttura è immersa nella natura, vi è molto silenzio e si possono apprezzare i vari canti degli uccelli a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte. Il paesaggio è molto suggestivo. C’è pace, amore, libertà e poche pretese. L’Ostello è sito a pochi minuti da Assisi e dalla Basilica di San Francesco, a 10 minuti di cammino. Al mattino, dopo un’ottima colazione - con marmellate, biscotti, caffè, latte e prodotti tipici locali - percorrere il tratto di strada che dall’Ostello giunge alla Basilica di San Francesco è incantevole. Ho avuto modo di apprezzare lungo il cammino molte varietà di fiori primaverili e alberi: Calle, Iris, Rosmarino, Ginestra, margherite, papaveri e altri fiori di campo,… e poi ulivi e altre varietà di alberi da frutto. Gli odori lungo il breve cammino sono inebrianti. La struttura è accogliente e offre ottimi servizi con ampia sala colazione, grandi bagni e stanze con finestre da cui è possibile osservare la natura circostante e le tante creature che vi abitano attorno. La pulizia e la cura di ogni ambiente è eccellente. La struttura ha anche un pollaio, un ricco orto, alberi da frutto… e poi degli Ippocastano enormi, con delle grandi fronde che offrono un buon riparo dal sole o dalla pioggia anche a chi volesse campeggiare. Il Personale è gentile, disponibile e affidabile. Ottimo il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

El Hostelo está en funcionamiento hace un año. Éramos pocos huéspedes y todo muy cómodo. Las habitaciones están separadas entre femeninas y masculinas. Los chicos que trabajan ahí súper amables y atentos. A 20 minutos a pie de Asís en subida.

Poca conexión con transportes públicos a la ciudad.
