Perfect spot in Assisi

The B&B is perfectly located on the street leading to the Basilica. The room is beautifully decorated and light. Breakfast was a treat with home made cake.

There is a spiral staircase up to the room. The steps are not a problem, but if you have a big suitcase you might battle. We had backpacks and it was fine. The staircase shouldn't put you off though, it is a beautiful facility.

Charming medieval location with modern comforts, near the tomb of St Francis. Awesome! Awesome! Awesome!

The property was in excellent condition, good size bedroom for 3 of us, large bathroom and so immaculately decorated. Location couldn’t be better, just a few minutes stroll from Basilica San Francesco and generally quiet. You can hear the birds sing before sunrise.

I liked it but be forwarned about its accessible issues.

The location close to the Basilica of San Francisco was excellent. The host was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with air-conditioning, albeit a noisy one.

The very tight spiral staircase was difficult to negotiate. Anyone with any leg strength or balance issues would have great difficulty getting their luggage up and down. The shower was in a tub with high sides and no grab bars. If you take the bus from the Train station, it is a long and hilly walk from the dropoff point to the hotel.

Good

Good location, nice room. Location really good too. Be careful because if you need to arrive late then the check-in time you will need to be 30 EUR.

The room is at the second floor and the stairs are really bad to go up with luggage. The breakfast is ok, but the dishes are not clean and the milk had a terrible taste. I didn't like that they don't tell it the room announce that they charge an extra amount for later check in, they would be more transparent. The owners live really close to the property and still charge 30 EUR for late checking (after 19:00).

A lovely place in a lovely town

The location was great, just a few steps from the cathedral. The room was lovely, with plenty of decorations and cute details, the lady preparing breakfast was very kind and the breakfast was very nice.

After the reservation we found out that if we don't meet the check-in time, we'll have to pay 20 euro for late check-in. It was quite stressful for us travelling by train from another town.
