We had a great time with our Grandaughters on Skye, Thank you Rowan Cottage for a cosy stay.
Rowan cottage was within easy walking distance to the centre of Portree my granddaughter found a quick route on an app the location was really quiet, cottage is very cosy beds are comfortable. lots of piping hot water , great shower. the kitchen is well equipped. We had a wonderful time in Skye the weather for April was terrific after longs days sightseeing it was so lovely to come back to a log fire.
There was nothing I didn't like, I did feel maybe paintwork could be freshened up and outside the front door given a bit of a tidy.

Wer in erster Linie ein authentisches Haus auf Skye sucht und einen guten Startpunkt für Ausflüge, i
Ein super Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Portree, an andere wunderschöne Orte und auch in günstiger Verkehrslage. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin war sehr freundlich und sie war ganz geduldig und hilfsbereit bei einem Problem.
Die Ausstattung des in die Jahre gekommenen Hauses ist ok gewesen, aber überhaupt nicht für kleinere Kinder geeignet. Angefangen beim Glastisch im Esszimmer, die Barhocker aus Plaste in der Küche und keine wirklich kindgerechte Einrichtung. Die Unterkunft war zudem sehr unsauber nach - wohlgemerkt - deutschem Standart. Falls man da nicht so hohe Ansprüche hat, geht es vielleicht auch.
