Great location, cozy B&B

The location was really great. Free parking, and you could walk to Portree Town Square in about 10 minutes. Susan was very nice and gave us some tips and recommendations for activities in the area. Breakfast was also really good. Susan was able to accommodate our requests for vegan options. The avocado toast was wonderful and now I miss it! Portree is a very cute little town with more shops and restaurants than other towns in Skye. Most of the major attractions are within about an hour's drive from here.

There was really no place to unpack and store your clothing. The room contained a very pretty vanity table, but the drawers were actually too shallow for clothing, so we had to get creative with chairs and packing cubes. There was a place to hang up a few items, and Susan brought us a few more hangers when requested. But having some additional shelving or drawers for unpacking clothing would have been great.

Wonderful stay in Portree

The hosts were very welcoming and kind, beautifully decorated room, comfortable and clean. Location was great, about a 12 min walk to the village. Would recommend.

Very accommodating hosts.

The hostess was extremely accommodating heating food for us we got at the grocery due to all the restaraunts being closed or not accepting walk-ins. MAJOR downside to Portree. The location was good.

The grout between the bathroom floor tiles needed cleaned. A luggage stand would have been helpful.

Okay for a short stay

The choice for breakfast was great and the service was nice and pleasant. The host was very nice and friendly.

The electric shower was awful. Very poor flow of water and struggled to wash properly. The toilet was broken on our arrival and even though attempts to fix the problem , the toilet continually flushed all through the night. The room was small, not enough space to store our belongings and move around the room freely.

House it’s in perfect localisation, 5 minutes walk from the town centre which means that it’s perfectly quiet at nights, breakfast it’s delicious made by the owner with a lot of extras, room it’s beautifully decorated with everything you will need, bathroom it’s huge and very clean, bed was very comfortable with soft and fresh towel, owners are fabulous, very friendly and helpful.

Superb

Susan was the best! This is a small B&B run by an older couple. They make a hot breakfast every morning and if you’re leaving early, they can make a breakfast to go. over all, I felt like I was at a home-stay. I felt so welcomed and at home really. I’ll definitely stay here if coming back. Also, the beds were so comfy! The location is also great, 10 min walk to Portree and a grocery store is just down the street. 15 min drive to The Storr and 30 min to Quiraing.

Love the stay and breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and big enough for us to store all our luggage and belongings. Friendly hosts who made us feel really welcomed. We really appreciate the sweet little gestures like leaving warm towels in the room for us, perfect after a cold and rainy day out. Delicious breakfast that kept us full and warm. Thank you hosts for the kind hospitality!
